Reel mower having bidirectional turf groomer capable of left or right hand drive
A turf groomer is coupled to a reel cutting unit in advance of the cutting reel and is powered by a gearbox having a rotary gear drive that provides alternately usable first and second drive paths capable of selectively rotating the turf groomer in opposite directions at different speeds. The rotary gear drive includes an axially slidable input gear on an input shaft. An actuator is coupled to the input gear to slide the input gear from one position in which the input gear is within the first drive path to select rotation of the turf groomer in a first direction at a first rotational speed. Alternatively, the actuator can slide the input gear into a second operational position in which the input gear is within the second drive path to select rotation of the turf groomer in an opposite direction at a different speed.
BLOWER WITH CRUISE CONTROL AND BOOST FUNCTION
A blower may (100) include a power unit and fan assembly powered by the power unit, a stepless trigger (146), control circuitry configured to at least partially control application of power to drive the fan assembly based on a position of the stepless trigger (146), and one or more buttons. The fan assembly may rotate at a speed proportional to the position of the stepless trigger (146) in a first mode of operation. The control circuitry may be configured to enable the operator to actuate a first button (164) of the one or more buttons to shift to a second mode of operation in which speed of the fan assembly is not proportional to the position of the stepless trigger (146) over at least a portion of a range of motion of the stepless trigger (146).
Lawn Care Assembly
A lawn care assembly for removing debris from a lawn includes a roller that may be urged across a support surface. A plurality of spikes is provided. Each of the spikes is coupled to the roller. Each of the spikes may pierce debris on the support surface thereby facilitating the debris to be removed from the support surface when the roller is urged across the support surface.
Mulching Assembly
A mulching assembly includes a vacuum that may be positioned to facilitate the vacuum to suck debris from a support surface. A handle is coupled to the vacuum such that the handle may be gripped. A mulcher is coupled to the vacuum and the mulcher mulches the debris. A canister is provided that may be positioned on the support surface. The canister is fluidly coupled to the vacuum such that the canister may receive the mulched debris from the vacuum.
Handheld blower
A handheld blower includes a housing having an air inlet and a duct assembly mounted in front of the air inlet, the duct assembly including a duct connected with the housing, a motor and a fan mounted in the duct, a battery, and a blowpipe connected to the housing by the duct assembly, the blowpipe defining a central axis in the length direction, and a handle arranged above the housing and the battery. The handle includes a gripping portion arranged on opposite sides of a plane in which the gravity center of the blower is located, and the plane is parallel to a central axis of the blowpipe and substantially perpendicular to a working ground. The gravity center of the handheld blower is adjacent to the gripping portion which enhances the handling comfort and reduces operator fatigue during long times of operation.
Blower
A blower has a blower tube and a fan unit that conveys an air flow through the blower tube. The fan unit has a fan having a fan axis. The fan conveys the air flow in the direction of the fan axis. The air flow exits the blower tube in an outflow direction at a tube aperture. The handle has on its lower side a grasping point, which in the operating position of the blower, lies on a vertical axis through the blower's center of gravity. The tube aperture has a center axis that is oriented in the outflow direction. So that the forces received by the user at the handle during operation can be made smaller, it is provided for the spacing from the center axis of the tube aperture to the grasping point to be smaller than the spacing from the fan axis to the grasping point.
Turf groomer for natural and artificial turf surfaces
A groomer for turf surfaces includes a groomer frame that mounts a first style of grooming brush for use on an artificial turf surface and a second style of grooming brush for use on a natural turf surface. The first style of grooming brush comprises a brush formed by spaced brush walls with each brush wall having a substantially single row of brush bristles with no bristles being placed between the brush walls. The second style of grooming brush is that similar to a push broom where the brush bristles are packed across the width of the brush head. When configured for artificial turf surfaces, a front row of scarifying spring tines helps the trailing brushes to level out the infill material and the attitude of the groomer frame can be tilted tail down to put more downpressure on the infill material. A debris remover attached to the rear of the frame can pick up and hold metallic debris that is often found in the turf surface.
BLOWER COMPRISING AN EYELET
A blower (100) may include a housing (110), a blower tube (150), a fan assembly (160) and an eyelet (190). The housing (110) may include a handle portion (144) defining a handle aperture (145). The blower tube (150) may extend forward from the housing (110) and define a tube axis (152). The fan assembly (160) may be operably coupled to the blower tube (150) to force air through the blower tube (150) responsive to operation of a motor (120). The eyelet (190) may be disposed on a side portion of the housing (110) proximate to the handle aperture (145).
NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEM FOR A BLOWER
A blower may include a housing, a motor, a fan assembly and an aperture array. The housing may include a handle portion, a top wall and a bottom wall. The fan assembly may be operably coupled to the motor to force air through a blower tube responsive to operation of the motor. The blower tube may define a tube axis. The aperture array may be provided at a portion of the housing to provide a path for air to the fan assembly. The aperture array may be defined by a plurality of vanes disposed at a portion of the housing between the top wall and the bottom wall. The vanes may be angled downward relative to the handle portion.
Devices and Methods for Collecting and Hauling Materials
The present application discloses devices for collecting and hauling materials, and methods of using the devices. The devices generally include a post and a sheet. The post includes a number of attachment points and the sheet includes a number of connectors. The connectors are selectively attachable to the attachment points on the post to position the sheet between an open orientation for loading the materials onto the sheet, and a closed orientation for transporting the device with the materials.
