An exoskeleton includes strapping for coupling the exoskeleton to a wearer. The exoskeleton also includes a hip structure, a thigh link rotatably connected to the hip structure and a shank link rotatably connected to the thigh link. The weight of the exoskeleton is transferred to a surface on which the exoskeleton is standing through the hip structure, the thigh link and the shank link. An arm brace supports an arm of the wearer, and a telescopic link is rotatably connected to the arm brace. An energy storage device delivers power to a tool through a conduit, and a conduit-energy storage device coupling connects the conduit to the energy storage device.

RETAINER ASSEMBLY HAVING A ROTATABLE, RELEASABLE SNAP BUTTON ENGAGEMENT
20170119106 · 2017-05-04 ·

An assembly is disclosed, the assembly for providing release structure to a lanyard or strap adapted to be worn on the body, such as a neck strap. The release structure consists of a snap button assembly configured such that the release pull generated by tension in the strap is directed along an axis perpendicular to the closure and rotation plane of the male and female portion of the snap button assemblies. With structure to configure a release pull in such an axis, a safety feature is provided to the wearer such that tension in the strap, when it reaches a sufficient force to overcome the closure forces of the snap button assembly, will release the closed snap button and allow the strap to fall away from the body. Also, as in the case of a firefighter wearing an SCBA fire mask, it prevents the firefighter from being entangled or tethered if the strap were to get accidentally hooked or caught on something. The breakaway will allow the firefighter to continue using the mask with no interruption of breathing air from the mask. In lanyards and tool holders, those fall away from the body. In the case of a firefighter, the mask does not fall away from the body.

Drop-prevention apparatus for a rolled product

A drop-prevention lanyard for rolled product includes a flexible strap having a first strap end portion with a first strap end, a second strap end portion with a second strap end, and a body portion between the first strap end portion and the second strap end portion. The first strap end portion is fixedly attached to the body portion at an attachment point, thereby defining a first loop at a first lanyard end portion. A connector on the flexible strap is operable between an open connector position and a closed connector position. The connector is positioned to selectively connect the second strap end to the body portion. A tubular member is installed over the second strap end portion of the flexible strap and is positioned between the attachment point and the second strap end.

A utility belt with a waist-belt having at least one holder operably coupled thereto for holding accessories. A first holder includes a bottom portion extending between a front portion and a back portion. The back portion is coupled to the waist-belt such that an accessory is secured on the bottom portion between the front and back portions. A second holder includes a pair of outer flanges and an inner flange therebetween. The inner flange forms an opening for securing an accessory therein. A third holder includes a back portion, a top portion, a holding rod and a locking rod. The locking rod is extended through apertures located on the top portion and holding rod to secure an accessory on the holding rod. A fourth holder includes a base and at least one pocket coupled thereto. The at least one pocket is formed on the base to hold accessories therein.

Tool pouch with retractors

A tool holder has a pouch with a front panel, back panel, and a closure that opens and closes access to an enclosed pouch compartment. The pouch has an outer tether opening from the pouch compartment to outside of the pouch. The pouch has a retractor pocket with a pocket opening to the outside and an inner tether opening to the pouch compartment. A retractable tether assembly is disposed in the retractor pocket with a tether extending into the pouch compartment via the inner tether opening and attaching to a closed loop connector at the distal tether end. The closed loop connector can be selectively decoupled from the distal tether end and is larger than the tether openings. Each retractable tether may be selectively configured to extend through an outer tether opening for connection to a hand tool located outside of the pouch when the pouch is closed.

Pistol grip attachment for use with a paintbrush
