PAINT FIXTURE FOR SHOE PORTIONS
Aspects hereof relate to a holding fixture for holding portions of a shoe during painting. The fixture has a lower jig and an upper jig. The lower jig has an outer wall from which a contacting surface extends. The contacting surface is sized to apply a compressive force to the midsole along a desired paint line, and prevents paint from moving onto the midsole below the contacting surface. The top jig has a lower surface configured to be placed in contact with the top surface of the midsole when the midsole is held in the lower jig and is shaped to apply a downward and outward force on the midsole at an edge defined by the top surface of the midsole and the outer perimeter surface of the midsole, to thereby prevent paint from moving onto the top surface of the shoe portion.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING AND VISUALLY DEPICTING SPRAY BAND LENGTH OF AN AGRICULTURAL FLUID APPLICATION SYSTEM
A spraying system for spraying a fluid includes a nozzle assembly configured to spray the fluid in response to receiving a control signal, a sensor configured to transmit a detection signal upon detection of a target, and a user interface configured to receive input from an operator. The spraying system further includes a control system communicatively coupled to the sensor to receive the detection signal from the sensor, the control system configured to transmit the control signal to the nozzle assembly at least in part in response to reception of the detection signal, the control system further configured to determine a fluid band length and an offset distance of the fluid band length from the target based at least in part on information input by the operator to the user interface. The user interface displays a graphic representation of the fluid band length and the offset distance relative to the target.
Mask frame assembly and method of manufacturing organic light-emitting display apparatus using the same
A mask frame assembly includes a frame, an open mask, and stick masks. The open mask is supported by the frame. The stick masks are disposed on the open mask and include ends coupled to the frame. The open mask includes: a first opening disposed in association with opposing ends of the open mask; and a second opening disposed between the first openings, the second opening being larger than the first opening. First deposition patterns of a first stick mask of the stick masks and second deposition patterns of a second stick mask of the stick masks overlap the second opening.
DUST AND GAS EJECTION VALVE
The invention relates to removal from the working area of a dust and gas mixture produced by action of a processing tool on the material being processed. The present dust and gas valve is intended to be mounted in an apparatus for processing materials. The dust and gas valve comprises a casing adapted to accommodate a processing tool and to be connected to a system for aspirating the produced dust and gas mixture, and means for directing the dust and gas mixture into the casing. According to the invention said means comprises: a unit for directional supply of compressed air to the working area, and a dust and gas mixture flow guiding element having a lower surface disposed around the working area and streamlined for the dust and gas mixture flow.
POWDER COATING APPARATUS
A powder coating apparatus for attaching powder to a film includes a forwarding roll which forwards the film; a take-up roll which is arranged on the downstream side of a conveyance direction of the film with respect to the forwarding roll and which takes up the film; a film-forming nozzle which is arranged between the forwarding roll and the take-up roll in the conveyance direction so as to be opposed to the film and which jets the powder; a first casing or a second casing which accommodates the forwarding roll and the take-up roll; an apparatus casing which accommodates the film-forming nozzle, the first casing, and the second casing; and a pressure adjustment unit configured to set an internal pressure of the first casing and the second casing to be higher than an internal pressure of the apparatus casing.

A painting plant was achieved with a painting booth (28) defining inside a work environment substantially closed under operative conditions, an air admitting and extracting system (42), a control unit (40) provided with a data entering system (40a) and a data storing memory; at least one sensor (105) of a parameter linked to humidity in the painting booth, for sending to the control unit a signal indicative of a humidity inside the painting booth; a fresh air intake conduit (44) comprises a heating section (101) having means (102) for heating the air to be delivered to the painting booth (28), and a humidifying section (103) having means (104) for humidifying the air to be delivered to the painting booth (28); the control unit (40) is configured for receiving a set value of the humidity inside the painting booth, receiving the signal indicative of a humidity inside the painting booth from the sensor (105) and adjusting the humidifying means (104) as a function of said set value or set range of values and of said humidity indicative signal inside the booth.
Deposition apparatus and deposition method using the same
A deposition apparatus and a deposition method are disclosed. In one aspect, the deposition apparatus includes an electrostatic chuck and a tensile plate attached to and formed over the electrostatic chuck. The deposition apparatus further includes an elevation unit configured to move the tensile plate towards the substrate and a tensile unit configured to apply a tensile force to the tensile plate to expand the tensile plate.
Shield for a rim of a vehicle wheel
A shield for a rim of a vehicle wheel for covering a rim during treatment of a tire mounted on the rim includes a panel that is circularly shaped and rigid. The panel is dimensioned such that the panel is configured to abut to a rim of a vehicle wheel to substantially cover the rim while leaving a tire attached to the rim exposed for treatment. A brace is pivotally coupled to the panel proximate to a center of the panel. The brace is configured to extend between the panel and a surface upon which the vehicle wheel rests, retaining the panel in abutment to the rim of the vehicle wheel. The improvement is the brace positioned on the panel, allowing the panel to be retained in abutment to the rim without further action by a user.
LIQUID DISPENSING WAND DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR CLEANING
An apparatus for creating a liquid jet stream to be used in cleaning a toilet bowl or other fixtures. The apparatus includes a base station, a hose, and a liquid dispensing wand. The base station includes a power supply, a water pump, and liquid basin for supplying liquid to the liquid dispensing wand to be sprayed during a cleaning process. The liquid dispensing wand include an actuator to initiate and stop the liquid jet stream and a splash guard to protect a user from splash back and overspray from the liquid jet stream.
SELF-CENTERING MAGNETIC MASKING SYSTEM
A masking fixture for coating dishware includes a support base having a first ferromagnetic member and a contoured support surface configured for engagement with a lower contour of the dishware. A mask base includes a second ferromagnetic member. The second ferromagnetic member is magnetically attracted to the first ferromagnetic member. The mask base includes a mask guide. A mask includes a masking surface configured for engagement with the upper contour. The mask is moveably coupled to the mask guide for movement between an engaged position in which the masking surface is engageable with the upper contour and a disengaged position. The mask can be moved to the disengaged position to facilitate removal of the mask base from the dishware after a coating operation.
