Acoustic Output Through Headrest Wings
The technology described in this document can be embodied in a headrest of a seat, the headrest including an enclosure for housing one or more acoustic transducers, and an adjustable headrest wing disposed in front of the enclosure. The headrest wing is coupled to the enclosure by a pivot, and configured to be adjusted to one of multiple positions within an angle range around the pivot. The headrest wing is also configured to support the head of a seat-occupant. The headrest further includes a connector disposed between the enclosure and a rear portion of the headrest wing. The connector is configured to provide an acoustic channel between the enclosure and the headrest wing such that audio signals from the one or more acoustic transducers are radiated outward through the headrest wing.
CONNECTORS FOR SPEAKERS DISPOSED IN HEADRESTS
The technology can be embodied in a headrest that includes an enclosure that includes one or more acoustic transducers. The headrest includes a bar for mounting on a backrest of the seat, such that the mounted headrest is movable with respect to the backrest to different positions over an adjustable range. The bar includes one or more wires each of which is coupled to an electrical contact at one end, and an acoustic transducer at an opposite end, the one or more wires disposed within a hollow interior portion of the bar. The bar also includes an opening for permitting an electrical connection to be established between an electrical connector coupled to an external source, and the electrical contact coupled to the one or more wires. The connection is maintained over the adjustable range of the headrest by a mechanical bias on either the electrical connector or the electrical contact.
Adjustable Head and Neck System
In accordance with at least one embodiment, an adjustable head and neck system comprises a locking upright brace and a forehead support. The forehead support is coupled to the locking upright brace. The forehead support is configurable to support a user's forehead.
Cushions
A cushion including a pillow portion (2) useable for supporting the head of a user of the cushion and an elongate trunk (4) portion that extends away from the pillow portion (2) and which is usable for supporting the chin of the user. Wherein the pillow portion (2) is shaped so that it is useable to extend from at least a position on the back of the neck of a user whose head is being supported by the pillow portion (2) that is less than three centimeters from the mid-point of the back of the neck to at least a position where it contacts an ear of the user, and wherein in this use of the pillow portion (2) the trunk portion (4) extends away from the pillow portion (2) towards the chin of the user.
Variable-sized occupant support
A pad is adapted to set on a seat pan included in a vehicle seat. The pad includes a cushion on the seat pan and a cushion cover on the cushion.
Device for adjusting a motor vehicle interior component
An adjusting device (1) for a motor vehicle interior component includes a housing (3) in which a rotational element (2) is provided in a rotatable manner about a rotation axis (100). A first locking element (21) is rotationally fixed to the rotational element (2), and a second locking element (22) is provided on the housing (3). The locking elements are reversibly movable relative to each other from a locked situation, in which the locking elements (21, 22) interact with each other in a positively and/or non-positively engaged manner, into an adjustment situation, in which said positive and/or non-positive engagement is released. The adjusting device has an adapter plate (23) which is provided in a rotatable manner relative to the rotational element (2) and the housing (3) and at least temporarily drives a locking element (21, 22).
Foldable headrest with double hinge
A headrest for a vehicle seat includes a padded part, carrying bars for securing the padded part to a backrest of the vehicle seat, and a mechanism for turning down the padded part about two swivel axes and from an in-use position into an out-of-use position. The mechanism comprises a cross member connecting the carrying bars to one another and forming the swivel axis of the padded part. Furthermore, the carrying bars and also the cross member run outside the padded part and the padded part is suspended on the cross member from the outside in a swiveling movable manner via the retaining strut and the double clip.
Controlling acoustic output through headrest wings
The technology described in this document can be embodied in a method for controlling acoustic output radiating through an adjustable wing of a seat headrest. The method includes receiving, from a sensor disposed in the seat headrest, an input signal indicative of a position of the adjustable wing. The position can be one of multiple positions within an angle range. The method also includes updating, based on the input signal, values for one or more control parameters associated with a transducer that generates the acoustic output radiating through the adjustable wing, and adjusting the transducer in accordance with the position of the adjustable wing using one or more control signals that are generated based on the updated values of the one or more control parameters.
TRANSCRANIAL NEUROSTIMULATION SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A transcranial neurostimulation system for a vehicle, the transcranial neurostimulation system comprising at least one electrode formed into an article of vehicle furniture such as a headrest of a seat.
HEADREST FOR VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a headrest for a vehicle, the headrest comprising: a fixed elevating unit installed at the top end of a seat backrest and capable of being raised; a fixing shaft fixed to the fixed elevating unit and extending in a horizontal direction; a moving frame installed on the fixing shaft and including a guide rail and an automatic power transfer unit, so as to move linearly forward and backward and rotate upward and downward; a coupling main body coupled in a state enclosing the moving frame, and moving together with the moving frame; and a manually operated unit enabling the moving frame to be manually adjusted on the coupling main body. The manually operated unit is characterized by including an operating switch for electrical control so as to be capable of controlling a current flowing to the automatic power transfer unit.
