Arrow rest
An arrow rest arrangement in a capture style arrow rest for an archery bow. The arrow capture portion may be formed as an inverted brush. The arrow capture portion defines a central aperture through which an arrow shaft extends. The aperture may include two straight slanted lower side portions forming a “V” profile to support the arrow.
Arrow rest mounting system enabling slide-based position adjustment
An arrow rest mounting system is disclosed. The system, in an embodiment, comprises a main body configured to be coupled to an archery bow and an arm extending along an arm axis and configured to be supported by the main body. The arm comprises one or more main body engagement surfaces configured to engage the main body to support and retain the arm on the main body. The arm further comprises an arrow rest support configured to support an arrow rest. The arm is configured to be adjustably slid relative to the main body along the arm axis.
Arrow rest assembly
An arrow rest assembly and method are described herein. The arrow rest assembly, in an embodiment, includes a bow engagement portion configured to be mounted to an archery bow and an accessory support coupled to the bow engagement portion. The accessory support is configured to support an arrow rest accessory that has an arrow holder. The assembly includes an adjuster support, a driver engaged with the adjuster support, and a biaser coupled to the driver. The biaser is configured to generate a biasing force acting on the driver.
Arrow rest cord length and lock adjustment device
An arrow rest cord length and lock adjustment device is disclosed. An example device includes a body having a plate section between a first end portion and a second end portion. A plurality of openings are formed in the body. A cord is threaded through the openings so that when the cord is under tension and fixed at one end of the body, one of the openings applies an orthogonal torquing force about an axis of another of the openings which in turn imparts a binding effect on the cord. At least one detent is provided on the body. An o-ring is received in the at least one detent and provided over a portion of the cord and a portion of a perimeter of the body to bring the cord closer to the plate section of the body.
Arrow rest assembly
An arrow rest assembly includes a launcher, a lever, a launcher-lever coupler, and a switch. The launcher moves between launcher-up and launcher-down positions, biased toward launcher-up; the lever moves between brace and drawn positions, biased toward drawn; the coupler moves between coupled and decoupled arrangements, biased toward coupled. When coupled, the launcher and lever move together in an aligned arrangement, including launcher-down with brace and launcher-up with drawn. When decoupled: the launcher and lever move independently, with biased movement of the launcher to launcher-up; and movement of the launcher and lever into the aligned arrangement enables biased movement of the coupler to the coupled arrangement. When coupled and with the lever in the brace position, actuating the switch, using the shaft of an arrow nocked or positioned to be nocked, moves the coupler to the decoupled arrangement and allows biased movement of the launcher to the launcher-up position.
Arrow rest
An arrow rest arrangement in a capture style arrow rest for an archery bow. The arrow capture portion may be formed as an inverted brush. The arrow capture portion defines a central aperture through which an arrow shaft extends. The aperture may include two straight slanted lower side portions forming a V profile to support the arrow.
Tapered arrow launcher
A tapered arrow launcher is disclosed as it may be implemented with an arrow launch platform (or arrow rest) for an archery bow. An example tapered arrow rest launcher may include an arrow support end, and a mounting end. The arrow support end of the arrow rest launcher is thinner than the mounting end, resulting in a thickness that is tapered along one or more sections. With this arrangement, fatigue forces and work hardening forces do not concentrate at the mounting end of the tapered arrow launcher when arrows are launched with the arrow launch platform.
Magnetically enhanced arrow rest
An arrow rest for an archers bow that co-acts with a magnetic catch that may hold the arrow on the rest when the bow is drawn back; and that holds a horizontally pivoting arrow support arm, made of magnetically attractive material, that pivots toward and away from the vertical surface of the bow in the sight window area of the bow, in close to the vertical surface of the bows sight window when the pivoting arrow support arm, is in a fully retracted position and not otherwise in use, so as to avoid possible damage from being caught on limbs and brush while being carried by the archer in the field. The magnet part of the arrow rest further helps move the horizontally pivoting arrow support arm out of the way of the arrows fletching as it passes by the rest so that arrow flight is not unduly disrupted as the arrow is leaving the bow. The rest may be constructed in multiple separated parts or co-joined into a single unibody component.
Accessorized bow assembly and method
An accessorized bow assembly and method are described herein. The accessorized bow assembly, in an embodiment, has a projectile support device and an archery bow. The archery bow includes a section. The section has a limb support and a first portion configured to face at least partially in a forward direction. The section also has a second portion configured to face at least partially in a rearward direction. The second portion at least partially defines a plurality of first and second slots. When the projectile support device is coupled to the archery bow, the first slot at least partially receives a first engager of the projectile support device, and the second slot at least partially receives a second engager of the projectile support device.
Arrow rest mounting system enabling slide-based position adjustment
An arrow rest mounting system is disclosed. The system, in an embodiment, includes a body configured to be coupled to an archery bow and an arm configured to be moveably coupled to the body. The arm includes an arrow rest support. The arm is configured to cooperate with the body to enable the arm to be slid relative to the body.
