DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FORMING SHEET-LIKE RUBBER
The sheet-like rubber forming device has a die body which has an opening having a predetermined cross sectional shape, and a variable die lip which is arranged in a front side of the die body and can change the height of the opening. The variable die lip is constructed by a first movable body and a second movable body. The die lip control unit controls the variable die lip so as to drive the first movable body in an opening direction from a state in which the first movable body and the second movable body are closed when the forming is started, hold the positions of the first movable body and the second movable body after reaching a predetermined height, and drive the second movable body in a closing direction when the forming is finished.
EXTRUSION DIE TENSION ADJUSTER AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A method of adjusting an amount of force applied to a plurality of fasteners connecting a lip body to a die body portion on an extrusion die using a fastener tension adjustment assembly is disclosed. The fastener tension adjustment assembly is adjusted to cause at least part of thee fastener tension adjustment assembly to move away from the lip body. In response to movement of the fastener tension adjustment assembly away from the lip body, amount of force applied by the fastener tension adjustment assembly on each of the plurality of fasteners is simultaneously increased.

Pattern coating device and pattern coating method thereof
A coating device for coating a coating liquid onto a substrate includes: a coating head having a coating-liquid outlet, adapted to move with respect to the substrate along a first axial direction and capable of coating the substrate with coating liquid through the coating-liquid outlet; and adjustment unit connected to the coating head and including a movable pad disposed proximal to the coating-liquid outlet and adapted to move along a second axial direction for adjusting the size of the opening of the coating-liquid outlet; and a drive assembly connected to the adjustment unit for controlling the adjustment unit to move along the second axial direction. Additionally a coating method is provided.
COMPOSITE LAYER
Composite layer comprising a plurality of first zones of a first polymeric material partially encapsulated in a continuous matrix of a second polymeric material. All first zones of the first polymeric material have an exposed area on only one major surface of the composite layer.
Die lip driving structure
Provided is a die lip driving structure for adjusting a gap between a first lip and a second lip by applying a pressing load or a tensile load to a flexible lip portion which forms at least one of the first lip and the second lip provided in a die body, the die lip driving structure including: a lever supported by a rotating shaft as a fulcrum; and an operating rod which is supported to be displaced in an axial direction by the die body. A rotational force of the lever is converted into a force in the axial direction of the operating rod, and the force in the axial direction becomes a pressing load or a tensile load exerted on the flexible lip portion. The lever directly applies a force to the operating rod at the point of action of the lever.
Extrusion die tension adjuster and method of using same
An extrusion die with fastener tension adjustment assembly can be formed of a die body that includes a first die body portion and a second die body portion. The extrusion die can have a lip body connected to one of the die body portions using the plurality of fasteners. In one configuration, the fastener tension adjustment assembly has an elongated body operatively connected to each of said plurality of fasteners. The fastener tension adjustment assembly is movable towards and away from the lip body, thereby simultaneously adjusting an amount of force applied to each of said plurality of fasteners. Because the fastener tension adjustment assembly can simultaneously adjust the amount of force on each of the plurality of fasteners, it can eliminate time consuming fastener-by-fastener adjustments on the extrusion die.
Systems and methods for dispensing a fluid
A fluid dispensing system may include a first die portion having a first face defining a first edge and a second die portion spaced from the first die portion and having a second face facing the first face and defining a second edge, wherein the first edge and the second edge define a fluid outlet opening. The fluid dispensing system may also include a fluid inlet for introducing fluid to a region between the first face and the second face, and a cavity in flow communication with the fluid inlet, wherein the cavity opens to the region between the first face and the second face. The fluid dispensing system may further include a shim disposed between the first die portion and the second die portion to maintain the spaced positioning of the first and second die portions, wherein the shim defines a plurality of channels bounded by the first and second faces and extending from the cavity in a direction toward the fluid outlet.
Process for manufacturing a plastic hollow body from a parison and die for extruding a parison
A process for manufacturing a plastic hollow body including extruding a molten plastic parison through a die. At least one longitudinal cut is made in the parison. The parison is introduced into a mold comprising two cavities. The hollow body is molded by conforming the parison to the mold cavities. The die includes a passage for the molten plastic which gradually modifies the shape of the parison so that it is substantially flattened on exiting.
Film manufacturing method, film manufacturing device, and jig
A film is formed by extruding a resin from a lip opening (3) of a multilayer extrusion die (1) in a state in which a rectifying jig (10) does not cover the lip opening (3) but covers a seal part (6) while being located adjacent to each end in a longer side direction of the lip opening (3).
