Paneling modules for vehicles
A vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, has cladding modules for cladding a body shell-side vehicle lateral wall and/or vehicle roof. The cladding modules, or at least a majority of the cladding modules of the vehicle, either have a first width or a second width which is smaller than the first width, and the difference between the first and second width corresponds to half of the width of at least one partition module which is mounted in the vehicle and which is mounted between two of the cladding modules or is arranged on an interface between two directly adjacent cladding modules, in particular the partition module is placed in front of the interface when seen in the vehicle transverse direction and covers the interface.
GONDOLA RAILROAD CAR
A gondola railroad car partially formed using members of high strength steel, that is lighter than conventional gondola railroad cars, that can carry more weight than conventional gondola railroad cars, that is less prone to damage than conventional gondola railroad cars, and that has a longer lifespan than convention gondola railroad cars. In various such embodiments, the floor and the side walls of the gondola railroad car are partially formed from ultra-high strength steel members.

Railway vehicle having partially standardized carriages
The railway vehicle comprises at least one end car, each arranged at a respective end of the railway vehicle, and, for each end car, a first car adjacent to this end car, and at least one second car, one of which is adjacent to the first car. Each second car comprises a second structural body. Each first car comprises a first structural body substantially identical to the second structural body of each second car, and a structural extension part attached on the first structural body and intended to be connected to the adjacent end car.

RAILROAD CAR AND END DOOR ASSEMBLY THEREFOR
A gondola car has a door and an associated door frame the end. The door hangs hingedly from the header of the frame. The header runs across the top of the door opening and is connected to the top chords at either side. The door posts are positioned inside the side sheets and tie into the header at each upper corner. The side sheets lap onto the door posts to allow longitudinal adjustment of the side assemblies and the door frame relative to each other, at assembly. The side posts are connected to the header with a tie plate that is bolted to both members. The car may also have a tarp dome at each end. The tarp dome has non-welded connections that have play to permit the tarp dome to accommodate movement of the top chords.

Carbody of railcar
A carbody of a railcar includes: an underframe; a first member provided at one of vertical sides of a vertical center of the underframe, supported by the underframe, and absorbing collision energy; a second member provided at the other vertical side of the vertical center of the underframe, supported by the underframe, and contacting an obstacle when the first member is compressed by collision with the obstacle. In a case where the second member receives a reaction force from the obstacle when the first member is compressed by the collision with the obstacle, the second member transfers to the underframe a moment load that is opposite in a rotational direction to a moment load transferred to the underframe by the first member.

A carbody of a railcar includes: an underframe; a first member provided at one of vertical sides of a vertical center of the underframe, supported by the underframe, and absorbing collision energy; a second member provided at the other vertical side of the vertical center of the underframe, supported by the underframe, and contacting an obstacle when the first member is compressed by collision with the obstacle.
