ADAPTIVE BASKETBALL SHOOTING DEVICES
Adaptive basketball shooting devices are disclosed that allow a person with limited use of his or her arms to shoot a basket from a seated position in a wheelchair. In preferred implementations, the device allows a person with limited mobility to pick up, carry, and shoot a basketball. Some devices include a frame, a conveyor configured to retrieve a ball from a surface on which the wheelchair is positioned, e.g., a floor or a paved basketball court, and in cooperation with the frame convey the ball vertically relative to the frame, and a driven wheel mounted on the frame and configured to eject the ball upward from the device.
Sports training machine
A basketball training apparatus includes a shot completion sensor, a condition sensor, and a computer. The shot completion sensor determines whether a shot goes through a basketball hoop. The condition sensor senses a physical condition of a basketball shooter. The computer is in communication with the shot completion sensor and the condition sensor, and has a processor for calculating shot completion percentage as a function of the physical condition.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A RETRIEVAL TOOL
Embodiments disclosed herein describe systems and methods for a retrieval tool, which is configured to secure object in place within the retrieval tool responsive to the object engaging with the retrieval tool. The retrieval tool may be utilized to grasp, secure, hold, etc. objects in a plurality of different circumstances, such as disc golf, grasping an object at a hard to reach place, more easily holding an object, etc.
BALL PICKUP DEVICE
A ball pickup device is provided, comprising a ball collector and a pull rod connected to the ball connector. The ball collector has ball inlets formed at the bottom of the ball collector and formed by transverse rods arranged at the bottom of the ball collector in parallel at intervals, and one ball outlet is formed by the interval between every two adjacent transverse rods. Each interval is smaller than the diameter of a ball. One end of each transverse rod is fixedly connected to the ball collector, and the other end is a movable end and located in the corresponding receding groove. When a ball is pressed, movable ends move along receding gooves to recede under the pressure of the ball, and the ball enters the ball collector. After the ball enters the ball inlet, movable ends move along receding grooves to gradually return.
BALL PICKUP DEVICE
A ball pickup device is provided, comprising a ball collector and a pull rod connected to the ball connector. The ball collector has ball inlets formed at the bottom of the ball collector and formed by transverse rods arranged at the bottom of the ball collector in parallel at intervals, and one ball outlet is formed by the interval between every two adjacent transverse rods. Each interval is smaller than the diameter of a ball. A ball collecting apparatus is provided that employs a human-powered ball transport system that moves balls from a collecting surface to a location above the collection surface. The ball collecting apparatus employs no motors or other artificially powered devices to retrieve and transfer balls, which makes it light and easy to maneuver. The ball collecting apparatus is primarily contemplated for use of picking up tennis balls, but other balls of various sizes may be accommodated by the apparatus as it is scalable.

The first ball opening and the second ball opening intersect on the scoop. The first ball opening is at least as large as the ball. The second ball opening is normally smaller than the ball. The second ball opening expands when pressed against the ball. This enables the ball to pass into the scoop through the second ball opening. A shaft extends from the closed end of the scoop for manipulating the scoop and ball.
