Stackable and collapsible crate
A stackable wooden crate that can be assembled and disassembled without tools, and stored flat is provided. The crate may include: two sides with box joint tabs, two sides with matching box joint recesses, a bottom, and a lid. The sides may come together at box joints held together with strap binding that stretches tight when the sides are folded 90 degrees to each other. A modified strap binding on one corner of the box is held tight via a tensioner buckle. The bottom is held captive by the four sides. The lid rests between four tabs that extend upward out of all four sides. When the lid is removed, multiple crates can be stacked, the upper crate held in place by the lower crate's four tabs which interface with recesses on the bottom of the upper crate.
Protective device for kitchen flooring
A protective device that can be used to protect kitchen flooring from being damaged consists of a base section, a backsplash section, and a sidesplash section. The food preparation equipment, such as a deep fryer or pressure fryer, is placed on the base section. The backsplash and the sidesplash are used to attach the device to a wall adjacent to the food preparation area. A tapered portion of the base section allows food preparation equipment to be conveniently placed on the base section and rolled away from the base section when needed. The ability to move the food preparation equipment is beneficial to clean the floor area in which the food preparation equipment is used in and protect the floor area.
Crates
A collapsible crate for transporting goods, the crate having an upstanding wall, at least a portion of which is movable, locating feature and releasable locking feature for releasably securing the movable wall portion relative to the crate, wherein the locating feature has a projection receivable within a recess or aperture to align, in use, the movable wall portion relative to the crate such that the movable wall portion is releasably securable by the locking feature.
Foldable basket, method of manufacture, and method of use of same
A foldable basket, attachment mechanism and/or method of manufacturing the same.
Adjustable attachment clip for a shipping crate
A shipping crate formed from connected V-shaped corner board sections. The shipping crate includes top and bottom frames each formed from sections of corner board. A series of attachment clips are used to connect the top and bottom frames to corner uprights and one or more cross supports, where the corner uprights and cross supports are formed from sections of corner board. The attachment clip includes a center wall and front and back walls that each combine with the center wall to form first and second receiving cavities. The first and second receiving cavities are each able to receive one leg of a corner board section. A guard wall is formed on the attachment clip and spaced from the back wall to define a connector cavity. The connector cavity receives ends of a series of connectors used to join the corner board sections within the attachment clip.
Clip for a knock-down structure
The invention relates to a releasable clip for use in a knock-down structure, and more particularly but not exclusively, to a releasable plastic clip for use in securing panels of a knock-down structure, for example a collapsible container, to one another. The releasable clip includes two legs that extend away from one another, with the legs being connected at one end, and each leg having an opposite free end that terminates in a panel engagement formation. At least one of the panel engagement formations is an adjustable engagement formation that is adjustable between a locked position, in which the engagement formation is adapted to engage a securing aperture provided in a panel, and a release position, in which the engagement formation is adapted to be released from the securing aperture.
Knockdown Containers And Displays With Optimal Lighting Features
A knockdown container or display in the shape of a 3-dimensional container is provide which comprises of two main element types, namely Sheet elements and Edge elements. In this design, all of the main elements of the container are joined one to another by sliding with respect to each other in a sequence that make an open or closed display or container that can easily assembled or disassembled. In particular, the edges of the Sheet elements have a shape that is fitted into matching slots of the Edge elements. The position and orientation of elements are such that they securely restrict unwanted movement of the elements with respect to one another, while minimizing the number of needed fasteners or number of additional restricting components needed to secure the Edge elements.
Food container
A lunch box assembly having a main housing having a lid rotatably, hingedly attached to a base to provide access to an opened interior of one or more compartments is disclosed. The lid can have ferrously magnetic material and recesses to accept magnets. The magnets can be shaped to fit the recesses. The base can have compartments aligned with corresponding compartments in the lid. The base and the lid can form one or more closed food storage compartments that separate the contents from the neighboring compartments. A latch on the base and lid can produce a clamping force on a small lidded container or containers placed in one or more of the compartments. The clamping force can clamp the lidded container closed and prevent leakage of fluids in the container.
Collapsible container
The invention relates to a container (1) which comprises a first plurality of strips (11-1 to 11-15) which, in the unfolded state, form the base surface and at least one end wall of the container, and a second plurality of strips (12-1 to 12-9, 12-10 to 12-18) which, in the unfolded state, form at least one side wall of the container, the container in the unfolded state having a height, a length and a width, and wherein the container in the collapsed state can be substantially reduced to the width. Therefore optimal compact dimensioning of the container in the collapsed state is achieved.
