Foam material for fire prevention and extinguishing and a preparation method and a use thereof
The present invention discloses a foam material for fire prevention and extinguishing and a preparation method and a use thereof. The foam material for fire prevention and extinguishing comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 2-4 parts of foaming agent, 2.5-3.5 parts of foam stabilizer, 10-16 parts of expandable graphite, and 100 parts of water. The foam material for fire prevention and extinguishing has a foaming multiple up to 15-30 times, a viscosity of only 700 mPa.Math.s at a flow state, and the foam could be stable for more than 12 h. After being transported to an ignition point of the goaf via the mine grouting pipeline, the foam material for fire prevention and extinguishing can spread and pile in a large area in the goaf, and thus cover and plug the float coal at low and high places, with a piling height above 1.5 m.
ZWITTERIONIC AND GLUCOSIDE SURFACTANT FORMULATIONS FOR FIRE-FIGHTING FOAM APPLICATIONS

Zwitterionic and glucoside surfactant formulations for fire-fighting foam applications
A composition having water and first and second surfactants having the formulas below. The values m and y are non-negative integers, and n and x are positive integers. R is a zwitterionic group. R′ is a siloxane group. A foam of the composition may be used to extinguish a fire. ##STR00001##
Fire extinguisher and method
The invention comprises a fire extinguisher and method, wherein the fire extinguisher has a sealable high-pressure container that forms a hollow interior connected by a valve to an environment external to the said container. The said container holds at a high pressure at room temperature a composition of liquid carbon dioxide and a non-hydrate, hydrophobic, cyclic organo-siloxane compound, the said compound further having a freezing point of at least −20° C. at one atmosphere. Upon release of the combination to the environment external to the container, the compound further produces a clathrate. In at least one embodiment of the invention, both the clathrate and the non-hydrate, hydrophobic, cyclic organo-siloxane compound have firefighting conductive properties.
Fire fighting agent compositions
A composition for a food safe firefighting agent includes: xanthan gum, water, and a surfactant.
FIRE EXTINGUISHING COMPOSITIONS AND METHOD
A firefighting foam preservative composition and a method of making the firefighting foam preservative composition are provided. The firefighting foam preservative composition includes a suspension system containing water and at least one suspension agent. The firefighting foam preservative composition also includes a first polysaccharide that is soluble in the suspension system; and a second polysaccharide that is insoluble in the suspension system, but soluble in water alone. Methods of using the firefighting foam preservative composition to produce a firefighting foam and using the firefighting foam to secure a hazard by extinguishing fire and/or suppressing flammable vapors are also provided.
Siloxane and glucoside surfactant formulation for fire-fighting foam applications
Disclosed is a firefighting composition of the surfactants below and water. The values of m, n, x, and y are independently selected positive integers. R is an organic group. R′ is a siloxane group. ##STR00001##
