PNEUMATIC FOOTPLATE CLEANING
A vehicle step system includes a footplate, having a footplate top side which can be stepped on and a cleaning device for cleaning the footplate top side, wherein the cleaning device has at least one air duct having at least one opening. The air duct can be supplied with compressed air, such that a compressed air stream can flow out of the opening. The opening is directed in the direction of the footplate top side in such a way that the compressed air stream strikes the footplate top side.
Retractable step having a lifting and ramp function
A boarding system for a vehicle for transporting people includes a retractable step that has a lifting function and a ramp function. An extendable front edge of the retractable step and a rear edge of the retractable step are arranged behind in the direction of travel and are adjustable in terms of height.
Height-adjustable step platform for a rail vehicle
A passenger rail vehicle includes at least one linearly movable step platform which is disposed in a boarding region of the rail vehicle and is used to bridge a gap in the horizontal direction between the boarding region of the rail vehicle and a station platform. The step platform includes a front section which forms part of a step surface of the step platform. The front section is mounted about a horizontal axis so that it can pivot on the step platform to form a ramp between a remaining step surface of the step platform and the station platform.
TELESCOPIC GUIDE SYSTEM FOR SLIDING STEPS
A boarding device includes a shiftably arranged sliding step, a step plate, and a slide-out unit operatively connected to the step plate. The slide out unit is embodied to be variable in length in the slide-out direction of the step plate.
Movable footboard for a vehicle door
A movable footboard for a door of a rail vehicle comprises a footboard extendable below a tread strip at least substantially transversely to the direction of travel. To minimize the level difference between the footboard and the tread strip a pivot shaft extends at least substantially parallel to the direction of travel on at least one longitudinal bar of the footboard at the end region of the footboard away from the vehicle, about which pivot shaft at least two pivoting bars are pivotably supported, which pivoting bars each bear a transverse profile element, each of the pivoting bars being rigidly connected to the transverse profile element associated with the pivot bar, while the other transverse profile elements lie freely on said pivot bar, and a lifting mechanism is fastened to the vehicle and lifts the transverse profile element located directly in front of the tread strip.
Self-propelled working machine
The self-propelled working machine (1) comprises: moving means (2) configured for allowing movement of the machine on a bearing plane (3); propulsion means (4) operatively associated to the moving means and configured to cause and maintain the movement of the working machine on the bearing plane; a frame (5) supporting the moving means and the propulsion means, an operating member (6) and relative actuating means, a maneuver cab (7) arranged directly or indirectly on the frame (5) and comprising at least an access door (8), the cab (7) and the frame (5) defining an encumbering volume of the machine. The machine 1 comprises a step board (11) arranged at the access door (8) of the maneuver cab (7) and coupling means (13, 17) operatively associated to the maneuver cab (7) and/or to the frame (5) of the working machine for supporting said step board (11), the coupling means being configured for allowing an actuation movement of the step board (11) between a retracted position in which said step board (11) remains substantially inside the encumbering volume, and an extracted position in which it protrudes, thereby defining a supporting surface, walkable by the operator, able to facilitate entering the maneuver cab.
High level platform trapdoor with built in moving slide for railway platform gap bridging
A trapdoor assembly for use on railcars is provided. The trapdoor assembly is pivotable between an up position and a down position. In the up position, the trapdoor assembly provides access to stairs on the railcar so that passengers can egress between the railcar and a ground level platform at a rail station. In the down position, the trapdoor assembly covers the stairs and provides a platform so that passengers can egress between the railcar and an elevated platform at a rail station. The trapdoor assembly also includes an extendible platform for bridging the gap between the railcar and the elevated station when the trapdoor is in the down position and the railcar is stopped at the elevated station.
RAIL VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A RAIL VEHICLE
A method for operating a rail vehicle that has at least one extendable and retractable sliding step which is associated with a door, includes moving the sliding step while the rail vehicle is travelling and the door is closed, specifically using at least one sensor signal from at least one sensor which is associated with the sliding step. A rail vehicle having at least one door that has an associated extendable and retractable sliding step is also provided.
COMPACT POWER RUNNING BOARD
A compact deployable/retractable running board assembly for a motor vehicle including a running board, linkage coupled to the running board, and a motor assembly coupled to an actuator, the running board moveable between at least one stowed position and at least one deployed position. The linkage includes a drive arm connected to a pivot shaft within a housing at a location on the pivot shaft between two bushings that are coupled to the pivot shaft within the housing. The linkage also includes an idler arm connected to a pivot shaft within an idler housing. The actuator is operably coupled to the linkage to cause rotation of the linkage to move the running board between the at least one stowed position generally under the motor vehicle and at least one deployed position to provide a step surface for a user.
Boarding system with a walk-on sealing cover
A boarding system for a vehicle includes at least one pivotable sealing cover, which is pivotable from a walk-on first position into a non-walk-on second position, wherein the sealing cover is flush with an outer side of the vehicle in the non-walk-on second position.
