Ceiling system and hanger for suspending ceiling tiles or panels therefrom
A hanger for suspending tiles or panels from a ceiling or roof, and a ceiling system incorporating the hanger, is provided. The hanger comprises a suspension member securable to the ceiling, having a longitudinal axis, and a panel mount coupled to the suspension member and releasably securable to each of a multiple panels to hold the multiple panels in a spaced relation from the ceiling on a common plane.
Height adjustment bracket for roof applications
A roof mount system supports a solar panel above a roof and includes a base positioned on the roof and a first fastener connected to the base and extending away from the roof and moveable along the base in a direction generally parallel to the roof. A first clamp supports a bottom surface of a solar panel frame and adjusts the height of the solar panel above the roof by moving the first clamp along a first fastener in a direction perpendicular to the roof. A second clamp is connected to a second fastener and moves with respect to the first clamp perpendicular to the roof. The solar panel is clamped between the first clamp and the second clamp portion. A protrusion extends from the first or second clamp to form an electrical bond between the solar panel frame and the respective first or second clamp.
Multi-piece truss legs and related couplers
A two-piece truss leg with an articulating coupler for an A-frame-shaped truss foundation system for single-axis trackers. The coupler is attached to the head of each screw anchor to enable it to be driven. A connection portion extends above the coupler and is received within an open end of an upper leg to allow the upper leg to be misaligned with respect to it corresponding screw anchor.
Data center and method for cooling said data center
The invention relates to a data center for IT and/or telecoms equipment, especially servers, comprising a building with an intermediate floor arranged for carrying IT and/or telecoms equipment, especially servers, as well as cooling means for cooling the IT and/or telecoms equipment, especially servers, in order to counteract overheating of the IT and/or telecoms equipment, especially servers.
Optimized truss foundations, adapters for optimized truss foundations, and related systems and methods
An A-frame shaped truss foundation system for a single axis tracker with moderately sloped legs that translate lateral loads into tension and compression without substantially increasing the magnitude of the lateral load force while optimizing material usage. Several such truss foundation systems are installed in a row to support a torque tube of a single-axis solar tracker. An adapter joins ends of adjacent upper legs and separates the truss legs by an angle more than 35-degrees up to 70-degrees.
Height adjustment bracket for roof applications
A roof mount for mounting at least one solar panel to a roof surface including a base. The roof mount includes a clamp connected to the base and a first recess sized to support a first solar panel. The first recess has a first height extending between a first top flange and a first bottom flange. The clamp also includes a second recess sized to support one of a second solar panel and a skirt flange. The second recess has a second height extending between a second top flange and a second bottom flange. The roof mount further includes a fastener connected to the clamp. The second fastener is operable to adjust the first and second heights, such that upon tightening of the second fastener, the first height increases and the second height decreases, and upon loosening of the second fastener, the first height decreases and the second height increases.
Panel mounting bracket with grounding mid-clamp and related methods
A system for mounting a plurality of solar panels on a building may include mounting brackets each including a base to be positioned on the building and a vertical extension coupled to the base. A plurality of interior mounting clamps may each include a leg to be coupled to the vertical extension of a given panel mounting bracket. Each interior mounting clamp may also include a first lateral arm coupled to a distal end of the leg on a first side thereof for securing a first panel to the given panel mounting bracket with the first lateral arm having a first thickness, and a second lateral arm coupled to the distal end of the leg on a second side thereof opposite the first side for securing a second panel to the given panel mounting bracket with the second lateral arm having a second thickness less than the first thickness.
Kinetic double skin façade configurated for providing heated air, and natural ventilation
An improved solar heater and ventilator device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the solar heater and ventilator system is a multi-functional device that can be used in a variety of ways to provide heat, produce and store electricity, and provide natural ventilation. In one embodiment, the device is comprised of a main frame, multiple columns of interconnected movable cubes and a distributor panel. Through the interconnected movable cubes, the solar heater and ventilator system can easily switch functionalities between a solar heater and a ventilator and cooling system. The device is easy and inexpensive to operate, as it does not require any external electricity, and its functionalities can be changed with simple touches of buttons.
Transportable and multi configurable, modular power platforms
Support platforms for one or more solar panels and systems and methods for securing support platforms are provided. In one embodiment, a frame of a support platform includes a plurality of support legs, each leg including a shoe plate. One or more toggle anchors with rod and/or cable are provided that include an anchor portion and a toggle portion pivotally coupled to the anchor portion, and a rod and/or cable is coupled to the toggle portion. Each anchor is driven into the ground with a driving rod such that an exposed end of the rod and/or cable extends from the ground. The driving rod is removed, and the rod and/or cable is pulled to deploy the anchor, and which the anchor is pull tested and measured in real time soil conditions whereupon the exposed end is coupled to the shoe plate of one of the support legs to apply a desired tensile force between the exposed end and the anchor to secure the support leg and, consequently, the support platform relative to the ground.
Modular facade or covering element with use of solar energy for water heating, air conditioning and ventilation
A system for heating a work fluid and for air circulation comprises a plurality of collectors fitted top-to-top in one or more columns, such that air ducts of the modules constitute a single duct along a column, wherein the solar collector comprises: one solar radiation planar absorber with one anterior face exposed to solar radiation and another posterior face affixed to the work fluid piping; one duct for exchanging heat with the planar absorber via the air duct which has its air inlet and outlet on opposite tops of the solar collector. The system can additionally comprise a descendent air duct to collect air from the upper part of the building and to supply air to the lower side of one or more columns of the facade.
