Provided are a preparation method of a thermoplastic resin composition and a thermoplastic resin composition prepared therefrom. The preparation method includes: feeding a first thermoplastic resin in a molten state into a first hopper and feeding an impact reinforcing agent including a predetermined content of moisture into a second hopper, followed by kneading and extruding processes, and removing the moisture in a first vent port and a second vent port, wherein the first hopper, the first vent port, the second hopper, a first kneading zone, and the second vent port are sequentially formed in a moving direction of an extruder. The thermoplastic resin composition prepared therefrom can have improved appearance property and improved color property by removing moisture of an impact reinforcing agent added to the thermoplastic resin composition.

Polyurethane composites produced by a vacuum infusion process
A polyurethane-forming system having a viscosity at 25 C. of less than 600 mPas for at least 30 minutes, a gel time at ambient temperature of greater than 60 minutes and a water content of less than 0.06% by weight, based on total system weight, is used to produce composites by a vacuum infusion process. This system makes it possible to produce large composites such as wind turbine blades having excellent physical properties.
KNEADING APPARATUS AND KNEADING METHOD
A kneading apparatus includes a processor, and a extruder. The extruder includes a screw. The screw includes a screw main body. A conveyance portion, a barrier portion, and a path are provided at places of the screw main body. In at least one of the places, the path is provided inside the screw main body, and includes an entrance and an exit. The raw materials, pressure on which is increased by the barrier portion, flow in from the entrance. The raw materials flowing in from the entrance flow through the path toward the exit. The exit is positioned to be remote from the entrance in an axial direction.

A method of manufacturing bulked continuous carpet filament which, in various embodiments, comprises: (A) grinding recycled PET bottles into a group of flakes; (B) washing the flakes; (C) identifying and removing impurities, including impure flakes, from the group of flakes; (D) passing the group of flakes through an MRS extruder while maintaining the pressure within the MRS portion of the MRS extruder below about 1.5 millibars; (E) passing the resulting polymer melt through at least one filter having a micron rating of less than about 50 microns; and (F) forming the recycled polymer into bulked continuous carpet filament that consists essentially of recycled PET.
Method for producing polyamide resin
A polyamide resin is produced by polycondensing a polyamide oligomer having a relative viscosity of from 1.1 to 1.3 and a water content of 3% by weight or less by melt-kneading using an intermeshed co-rotation twin screw extruder having at least one or more open vents OV1 and OV2 and at least one or more vacuum vents VV1 and VV2. A pressure-decreasing element Y for increasing the resin filling rate is provided at a position nearer to the supply section side than positions at which the vacuum vents VV1 and VV2 are provided, and an area of 30% or less of the total screw length is a vacuum area having a pressure of 300 Torr or less.
