Communications hub
A method for bandwidth sharing is provided. The method may include getting a list of neighboring communications hubs, the neighboring communications hubs being disposed in respective neighboring residences. The neighboring communications hubs may be communicatively coupled to the first communications hub using a first broadband data network provisioned by an Internet Service Provider (ISP), and the neighboring residences may be within a same predetermined geographic region as the first residence or within a predetermined temporal distance on a data network from the first residence. The method determines if a data requirement exceeds bandwidth available to the first communications hub and provides a request for data to a neighboring communications hub. The request corresponds to the data requirement. The method then receives data responsive to the request from the neighboring communications hub.
IDENTIFYING EDGE CLOUDS WITHIN NETWORKS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for managing network operations. The method generally includes selecting an edge cloud of a plurality of edge clouds to be used for performing one or more network operations for at least one endpoint device. In certain aspects, the selection may be based on an indication of at least one of an amount of available resources or capabilities associated with each of the plurality of edge clouds. In certain aspects, the method also includes configuring the edge cloud to perform the one or more network operations based on the selection.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING PREDICTED WEB PAGE RESOURCES
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can receive a web page request associated with a user ID from a client computing device. A set of gatekeeper conditions is determined based on the user ID. A set of predicted resources is determined based on the set of gatekeeper conditions. An initial package of resources is transmitted to the client computing device in response to the web page request. The initial package of resources comprises the set of predicted resources.
IDENTIFYING EDGE CLOUDS WITHIN NETWORKS
Techniques for edge cloud identification. An indication of edge clouds is received. Each edge cloud is uniquely identifiable via an associated edge cloud identifier. A characteristic is received from each of the edge clouds. An edge cloud for communication is determined based on the characteristic. The edge cloud is communicated with using its associated edge cloud identifier.
Using captured configuration changes to enable on-demand production of graph-based relationships in a cloud computing environment
Described herein is a system for automatically capturing configuration changes to the cloud computing resources. The system for automatically capturing configuration changes may detect changes to configurations of cloud computing resources across the geographic regions, in real-time. The changes may be stored in a central data storage device instantiated by a central cloud computing account. Furthermore, a relationship graph indicating the relationships between the different cloud computing resources may be generated.
Distribution from multiple servers to multiple nodes
The embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a computer-implemented method, a system, and a computer program product for distributing data on multiple servers to multiple nodes in a cluster. In the method, each of M servers is instructed to divide data thereon into N data segments. M and N are integers greater than one. The M servers are instructed to send NM data segments on the M servers to N nodes in a cluster concurrently. For each of the M servers, the N data segments are sent respectively to the N nodes. When any given node in the cluster receives a data piece of a data segment from a server of the M servers, the given node is instructed to transmit the received data piece to remaining nodes in the cluster other than the given node.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING TRANSMISSION RESOURCES IN A SIP-BASED COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method for managing transmission resources in a SIP-based communication system by a SIP registrar server can include receiving a first number of register requests from a first client from the number of clients, each register request corresponding to one slot in the predetermined first time period; receiving a second number of register requests from a second client of the number of clients, each register request corresponding to one slot in the predetermined first time period, wherein the second number of register requests exceeds the acceptable predetermined number of register requests for the second client, and assigning a number of slots not used by the first client within the predetermined first time period to the second client for sending the register requests which exceed the acceptable predetermined number of register requests for the second client. A system for implementation of the method and an apparatus can be utilized in embodiments of the method and the system.
Management node, management system, management method and computer-readable recording medium
Provided a management node etc. that is possible to alleviate a delay in a time to start analyzing sensor data. The management node analyzes sensor data collected by a sensor device, and includes: an assessment unit configured to determines whether a first time period required to process the sensor data at a center node within a data center is larger than a prescribed threshold; and a determination unit configured to determines the sensor data is to be analyzed at the center node when the first time period is equal to or less than the prescribed threshold.
Technologies for offloaded management of communication
Technologies for offloaded management of communication are disclosed. In order to manage communication with information that may be available to applications in a compute device, the compute device may offload communication management to a host fabric interface using a credit management system. A credit limit is established, and each message to be sent is added to a queue with a corresponding number of credits required to send the message. The host fabric interface of the compute device may send out messages as credits become available and decrease the number of available credits based on the number of credits required to send a particular message. When an acknowledgement of receipt of a message is received, the number of credits required to send the corresponding message may be added back to an available credit pool.
Method and SIP registrar server for managing transmission resources in a SIP-based communication system
A computer apparatus (e.g. a server) and a method for managing transmission resources in a SIP-based communication system can include use of a SIP registrar server that is adapted to receive register requests from a number of clients connected to the SIP registrar server via a communication network. Each client can be granted a predetermined number of register requests in a predetermined first time period where each register request corresponds to a slot. In the first time period, at least one slot not used by a first client can be lent to a second client. In a second time period, the at least one slot lent to the second client can be reclaimed by the first client or another client. The reclaiming of the lent slot(s) can include making the second client function as a proxy for other clients according to a third party registration process.
