CLOSED-HEAD DRUM WITH LINER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a closed-head drum (10) with inserted thin-walled inliner (22) of multilayer plastic film for storing and transporting liquid or free-flowing filling materials. In order to improve the use of liners in closed-head drums, and to facilitate in particular the handling for the users such as the filling and emptying operators, so as to allow the closed-head drum (10) with liner (22) to be handled in precisely the same way as a closed-head drum without a liner, the present invention provides for the liner surface to adhere, or be adhesively bonded in a detachable manner, to the inner wall of the drum by virtue of a vacuum being created in the intermediate air space between the inner wall of the drum and liner surface and by thermal activation by means of hot air injection into the interior of the inliner.

CLOSING UNIT FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A closing unit associable with a keg type container suitable to contain a beverage, and consisting of two cooperating coaxial containers, wherein the external container has anchoring means, or a threaded portion, comprising a valve assembly and a closing device, which can be stably anchored to the threaded portion and configured to reciprocally position with respect to each other the valve assembly and the containers.
Pipe connectable plastic bucket and method of using the same
A pipe connectable plastic bucket includes a bucket and at least two quick-connect devices. The bucket has a plurality of through holes for communication between the inside and the outside of the bucket. The at least two quick-connect devices respectively correspond to the plurality of through holes, and are disposed on the bucket. The at least two quick-connect devices are adapted to connect to pipes, and are used for allowing a fluid entering and exiting the bucket through the plurality of the through holes. The at least two quick-connect devices comprise a first quick-connect device for allowing the liquid to enter and to exit the bucket. The present invention also provides a method of using the pipe connectable plastic bucket.
Method for manufacturing a chemical container
The present disclosure provides a chemical container and a method for manufacturing the same. The chemical container comprises a head portion having a top wall and a head sidewall extending from an edge of the top wall, as well as a body portion jointed with the head portion and defining a chamber together with the head portion. The top wall has a mouth structure configured for one or more pipelines to pass through and connect with the chamber. The manufacturing method is simple and of low cost, and the resulted chemical container is able to withstand a greater internal pressure and is configured to collect any leaking liquid chemicals.
Making a plastic tank having a weld joint by using a resilient clamp
A plastic tank is comprised of two parts, a base and a top, that are permanently joined to each other by welding at a circumferential joint formed by two mating flanges of the parts. Fusion weld elements are captured on the faying surfaces of the flanges of the assembled parts, and the elements melted by internal heating of metal portions of the elements. Before heating of the elements, the flanges are gripped by a clamp which applies a resilient force which, during welding, causes the flanges to move toward each other and thereby a good weld joint is formed.
Double Barrel for Hazardous Goods
A double barrel for hazardous goods with an outer barrel of plastic and an inner barrel of plastic received in the outer barrel. The body of the outer barrel is formed of a first barrel part and a second barrel part. The first barrel part has a first connecting area and the second barrel part has a second connecting area that is complementary to the first connecting area. The first and the second barrel part are firmly connected to each other via the connecting areas in an assembled state by means of a circumferential plastic weld seam.
Containers for medical devices
A container for a medical device having a housing defining a cavity for receiving a device, such as a lung volume reduction coil, is disclosed. In some embodiments, the container includes a coupling zone external to the cavity, an exit aperture between the cavity and the coupling zone, and a bearing surface located within the cavity, the bearing surface, exit aperture and coupling zone defining an exit path along which the device can be moved for deployment from the container. The bearing surface is spaced from the exit aperture and arranged, together with the coupling zone, such that the exit path is substantially straight. In some embodiments, the cavity may be approximately cylindrical, and the bearing surface, the exit aperture, and the coupling zone are aligned such that the exit path extends in a direction that is substantially tangential to the cavity.

CONTAINERS WITH ADHESIVELY ATTACHED CHIMES
A keg includes a container 1 and a chime 3 fixed to each other by means of an adhesive. The container has a peripheral side wall 4, and a top wall formed with a central neck containing a valve fitting provided with a dip tube which extends into the container. A bottom wall 9 is formed with a central projection 10 defining an internal well inside the container which receives the lower end of the dip tube. The chime 3 has an inner hub 12 with a central opening 13, legs 14 which extend outwardly from the inner hub, and an outer skirt 15 joined to outer ends of the legs 14. The central opening 13 of the inner hub 12 receives the central projection 10, without fixation, to locate the inner hub against lateral movement. The central opening 13 may have the same internal profile as the outer profile of the central projection 10. In a modification the central opening 13 incorporates a plurality of slots which radiate outwardly to define a plurality of flexible inwardly-directed fingers which locate the inner hub and accommodate variations in the relative axial position of the central projection 10 and the inner hub 12.
