The system includes moisture resistant edging blocks configured to rest between the fencing and the ground. The blocks include a lower surface for resting on the ground and an upper surface adjacent to a lower portion of the fence. The system includes a plurality of blocks selectively routed and interlocked together. The blocks may optionally include a notch to permit the full enclosure of the fence post, a groove to permit selective routing of exterior fluid lines and electrical lines along the fence, and a hollowed channel for interlocking neighboring blocks together.

An edging border device for controlling growth of vegetation is disclosed. The device includes a material sheet that has one or more openings suitable for enabling the material sheet to contact a portion of an object present in the opening. The material sheet includes one or more extending portions that extend away from the opening. The extending sheet may have a decorative surface to compliment the appearance of the object present in an opening. An extending portion may be formed of anyone or more of permeable materials, impermeable materials or combinations thereof. An extending portion may include one or more agricultural control agents wherein the control agents include one or more of herbicidal agents, fungicidal agents, insecticidal agents and mixtures thereof. Permeable materials may include cellulosic materials such as wood and wood composites. Impermeable materials may be anyone or more of rubber, plastic, metal and mixtures thereof.

There is provided a curb for landscaping having a base portion, a cover portion, a curb front end and a curb rear end. The base portion has a top surface and a flat bottom surface. The cover portion has an outer surface and an inner surface. The base portion and the cover portion have front and rear edges, and these front edges are attached to define the curb front end. The cover portion overlies and extends above the base portion such that the rear edges are spaced apart. The curb rear end has one or more drainage openings above the top surface of the base portion, and the curb front end has one or more drainage outlets adjacent to and above the front edge of the base portion, the drainage outlets being in fluid communication with the drainage openings and permitting water to drain through the curb body.

A block suitable for use in paving, edging or wall applications comprises a lower portion having parallel, substantially vertical side faces that are spaced apart by a first width, and an upper portion having parallel, substantially vertical side faces that are spaced apart by a second width. The second width is smaller than the first width of the lower portion, and the side faces of the upper portion are angled relative to the side faces of the lower portion. The block further comprises a transition portion between the upper and lower portions, having at least one slanted side extending between one or more sides of the lower portion and one or more sides, respectively, of the upper portion.

A landscape edging piece which forms a boundary between a landscaped bed and a mowed lawn area. The edging piece has a top face that is inclined downwardly from the endwall that abuts the landscaped bed, so that the endwall that abuts the mowed area is at approximately lawn level. The edging piece is formed by molding and has integrally formed anchoring spikes that secure the piece in the desired location. The edging piece used in a landscaped area appears the same as a conventional paver, but is far less expensive to install since it does not require digging to place it in the proper position.
