Railway freight car truck with transom
A stabilized railway car truck consists of two side frames and a bolster. The bolster has laterally opposite ends, each end extending into and supported within a side frame opening on a spring group. The stabilized railway car truck also includes a transom extending into, and supported within, a side frame opening. The spring group is supported at each transom end. Each side frame includes an integrally cast transom bearing over which a transom support bearing is fitted. The pivotal decoupling of the side frame and transom eliminates track displacement irregularities from reacting at the bolster and into the vehicle.
Railcar bogie
A railcar bogie includes: a bogie frame including a cross beam and plate springs, the plate springs supporting both respective car width direction end portions of the cross beam and extending in a car longitudinal direction; axles extending in a car width direction; bearings provided at both respective car width direction sides of each of the axles; axle boxes accommodating the respective bearings and supporting the plate springs from below; and rubbing plates provided on an upper surface of the bogie frame to slidingly contact respective rubbed plates provided on a lower surface of a bolster. In a plan view, each of the rubbing plates is arranged within a region where the cross beam and the plate spring intersect with each other and is arranged on a center line of the plate spring, the center line extending in the car longitudinal direction.

RAILROAD CAR TRUCK WITH WARP RESTRAINTS
A railroad car truck including a first side frame, a second side frame, a bolster, and a first plurality of warp restraints, each first warp restraint configured to reduce, inhibit, or minimize warping of the bolster relative to the side frame, and in one embodiment including a first inner bearing race at a first end of the bolster, a second opposing outer bearing race at the first side frame, and a roller positioned in a channel formed by and between the first and second opposing bearing races, and a second plurality of warp restraints, each second warp restraint including a first inner bearing race at a second end of the bolster, a second opposing outer bearing race at the second side frame, and a roller positioned in a channel formed by and between the first and second opposing bearing races.
RAILWAY TRUCK BOLSTER WEAR LINER
A railway truck to railway car body interface is provided. The railway truck is comprised of a bolster supported between two sideframes. The truck bolster includes a center bowl, and the car body includes a body bolster opening. A center plate is placed between the truck bolster center bowl and the car body bolster opening. A wear liner, usually comprised of an elastomeric material, is provided between the sides of the center bowl and the center plate.

RAILWAY CAR TRUCK WITH FRICTION DAMPING
A device is provided for addition to a three piece railway freight truck to prevent vertical over travel of the bolster and absorb inertia energy of the bolster before it impacts the side frame or brake equipment.
Two variations of this device have a gap which prevents the device from being engaged under normal operating conditions. The device utilizes an energy absorbing elastomer material mounted between the top of the bolster end and the bottom of the side frame top center compression member.

STABILIZED RAILWAY FREIGHT CAR TRUCK
A stabilized railway car truck consists of two side frames and a bolster. The bolster has laterally opposite ends, each end extending into and supported within a side frame opening on a spring group. The stabilized railway car truck also includes a transom extending into supporting contact with each sideframe by a hinge assembly. The spring group is supported at each transom end. The hinge assembly includes a pin arrangement that allows one sideframe to move vertically with respect to the other sideframe.
Bogie, rail vehicle having same, and rail transport system
A bogie includes a bogie frame, a first running wheel and a second running wheel, at least one driving device, a first horizontal wheel, a second horizontal wheel, a first horizontal safety wheel connected to the first horizontal wheel and moving in synchronization with the first horizontal wheel, and a second horizontal safety wheel connected to the second horizontal wheel and moving in synchronization with the second horizontal wheel. The bogie frame has a straddle recess suitable for straddling a rail. The first running wheel and the second running wheel are pivotably mounted onto the bogie frame respectively and are coaxially spaced apart. The at least one driving device is mounted onto the bogie frame and located between the first running wheel and the second running wheel to drive the first running wheel and the second running wheel.
