A railway truck to railway car body interface is provided. The railway truck is comprised of a bolster supported between two sideframes. The truck bolster includes a center bowl, and the car body includes a body bolster opening. A center plate is placed between the truck bolster center bowl and the car body bolster opening. A wear liner, usually comprised of an elastomeric material, is provided between the sides of the center bowl and the center plate.

Bolster for a freight railway car truck

A bolster for a freight railway car truck relates to structural elements of freight railway car trucks. Locator recesses (8.2) with bearing surfaces (8.3) and thrust flanges (8.4) are formed in the side walls of guiding pockets (8). Wear-resistant lateral guiding plates (9) are secured within locator recesses (8.2) on the bearing surfaces (8.3), and wear-resistant inserts (10) are secured on inclined bearing seats (8.5). The use of wear-resistant lateral guiding plates (9) and wear-resistant inserts (10) protects side bearing surfaces and inclined bearing seats of guiding pockets (8) engaging with friction wedges of the shock absorber from contact wear.

Air spring and carriage for vehicle

Each of an assembly for air spring, an air spring, and a carriage for vehicle includes: a first supporting member; a second supporting member arranged to be spaced away from the first supporting member in a main load direction; and an adjusting member connected to the first supporting member and the second supporting member in a plane crossing the main load direction, the adjusting member having anisotropy in elastic property in the plane crossing the main load direction.

AXLE BOX SUSPENSION OF RAILCAR BOGIE

An axle box suspension includes: an axle beam including an axle beam main body portion extending from the axle box in a car longitudinal direction and a pin portion projecting from a tip end of the axle beam main body portion in the car longitudinal direction; a tubular elastic bushing including an inner tube portion, an outer tube portion, and an elastic portion interposed between the inner tube portion and the outer tube portion, the inner tube portion being fitted to the pin portion; an adapter attached to the outer tube portion and coupling the axle beam and the bogie frame; and a first stopper attached to the pin portion and configured to, when the axle box is displaced relative to the bogie frame toward one side in the car longitudinal direction by a predetermined distance, contact the adapter to restrict displacement of the axle box.

RUBBER-METAL SPRING UNIT

A rubber-metal spring unit is for use in bogies of rail vehicles, wherein the rubber-metal spring unit is arranged between an upper connection element, which is connected to the sprung mass, and a lower connection element, which is connected to the unsprung mass. The rubber-metal spring unit is configured as a conical layered spring composed of multiple alternately and concentrically arranged layers of elastomer material or rubber, on the one hand, and metal, on the other hand. The individual layers are formed as conical annular-shaped bodies, wherein the two conical surfaces of at least one of the conical annular-shaped bodies have different cone angles in relation to the common vertical axis of the concentric layers of rubber and metal which form the conical layered spring.
