Chassis for a Rail Vehicle
A chassis for a rail vehicle includes at least one chassis frame to which at least one first wheel set and a second wheel set are coupled and to which at least one first drive unit and a second drive unit are connected, wherein a first coupling rod is connected at least to the first drive unit in an articulated manner and is configured to be coupleable to the vehicle body of the rail vehicle in an elastic manner, such that advantageous structural conditions are achieved.

Aluminum alloy component
To suppress occurrence of stress corrosion cracking in a weld due to tensile residual stress generated in a web or a middle rib in case of bend forming of an aluminum alloy extrusion having the weld on the web or/and the middle rib. In bend forming of the aluminum alloy extrusion, a peak position of tensile residual stress generated in the middle rib exists in a region other than the vicinity of the weld. Since the peak position is away from the weld by a distance, tensile residual stress in the weld is reduced, making it possible to suppress occurrence of stress corrosion cracking.
Train rail power generating system and method
Proposed are renewable power generating systems driven by wind or wheel power such as train vehicle power generating systems, which are easily installed on train vehicles of trains, and which generate power without additional carbon emissions to avoid environmental pollution. One or more generator holders to hold one or more generators are installable on a train vehicle chassis. A generator wheel may be configured to touch a rail and may rotate in any direction along the rail. A generator axle may couple one or more generators to the generator wheel. The one or more generators may generate electrical power and produce zero carbon emissions while the generator wheel rotate on the rail. One or more wind turbines may also be coupled to the generator axle to supply power to the one or more generators so that the one or more generators produce zero carbon emissions while the train vehicle is moving.

Bolster beam of railcar bogie
A bolster beam of a railcar bogie includes a bolster beam main body in which a pair of auxiliary air chambers respectively communicating with a pair of air springs are formed; and a stopper structure projecting upward from a car width direction middle portion of the bolster beam main body. An upper wall of the bolster beam main body includes a middle upper wall portion at which the stopper structure portion is provided; and a pair of outside upper wall portions adjacently located at both respective car width direction sides of the middle upper wall portion and joined to the middle upper wall portion. The pair of outside upper wall portions include respective upward bent portions that are located at a car width direction middle side and bent upward toward the stopper structure portion.

Method of assembling railcar bogie and wheel base fixing jig for use therein
A method of assembling a railcar bogie includes: a positioning step of locking a wheelbase fixing jig to a pair of axle box devices to position the pair of axle box devices such that a wheelbase between a pair of wheelsets supported by the respective axle box devices becomes a predetermined designed value, the pair of axle box devices being arranged away from each other in a car longitudinal direction, the wheelbase fixing jig extending in the car longitudinal direction; a plate spring arranging step of making the pair of axle box devices support a plate spring extending in the car longitudinal direction; and a bogie frame arranging step of making a longitudinal direction middle portion of the plate spring support a bogie frame and coupling the bogie frame to the pair of axle box devices.
