The invention relates to a lighting system for a motor vehicle. The lighting system includes a first lighting device with a plurality of separately controllable first light-emitting pixels and two second lighting devices, each of which can be arranged laterally on the first lighting device and each of which has a plurality of separately controllable second light-emitting pixels. According to the invention, at least one light-emitting pixel of the second light-emitting pixels has a second pixel size that is larger than the first pixel size of at least one light-emitting pixel of the first light-emitting pixels. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle.
LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH LIGHT-EMITTING PIXEL COMPENSATION FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a lighting system for a motor vehicle. The lighting system includes a first lighting device with a plurality of separately controllable first light-emitting pixels and two second lighting devices, each of which can be arranged laterally on the first lighting device and each of which has a plurality of separately controllable second light-emitting pixels. According to the invention, at least one light-emitting pixel of the second light-emitting pixels has a second pixel size that is larger than the first pixel size of at least one light-emitting pixel of the first light-emitting pixels. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle.

A micro LED array having a plurality of micro LED structures, includes: a first semiconductor layer comprising a first mesa array and a first layer formed on the first mesa array, wherein the first mesa array includes a plurality of first mesa structures corresponding to the plurality of micro LED structures and the first layer between adjacent first mesa structures is separated; a continuous light emitting layer formed on the first layer; and a second semiconductor layer comprising a second layer formed on the continuous light emitting layer and a second mesa array provided on the second layer, wherein the second mesa array includes a plurality of second mesa structures corresponding to the plurality of micro LED structures.

A micro LED array having a plurality of micro LED structures, includes: a first semiconductor layer comprising a first mesa array and a first layer formed on the first mesa array, wherein the first mesa array includes a plurality of first mesa structures corresponding to the plurality of micro LED structures and the first layer between adjacent first mesa structures is separated; a continuous light emitting layer formed on the first layer; and a second semiconductor layer comprising a second layer formed on the continuous light emitting layer and a second mesa array provided on the second layer, wherein the second mesa array includes a plurality of second mesa structures corresponding to the plurality of micro LED structures.

A passive optical element is formed and attached to surface of two or more LEDs of a display. The passive optical element redistributes light emitted from a first LED to exit the display in a first and second region of the display. A display device, a light emitting element, and a manufacturing method of the display device are provided. The display device includes: a substrate on which a pixel electrode is located; a light emitting element on the pixel electrode and including an element rod and a contact electrode on one surface and a side surface of the element rod; a connection electrode electrically connecting the contact electrode and the pixel electrode; and a common electrode on the light emitting element, wherein the element rod includes: a first element rod including a first semiconductor layer and an active layer and having a side surface having a first inclination angle; a second element rod on the first element rod and having a side surface having a second inclination angle; and a third element rod on the second element rod and having a side surface having a third inclination angle.
