Washing apparatus and controlling method thereof
A washing apparatus is provided. The washing apparatus includes a main body having a door, a spin basket disposed inside the main body and rotating about a rotary shaft, a motor providing power to the rotary shaft, a spring clutch including a first core rotating in conjunction with the motor and a second core rotating in conjunction with the rotation shaft, and selectively transmitting power of the motor to the spin basket, a processor, and a sensor that measures revolutions per minute (RPM) of the spring clutch, and when the driving of the motor based on an input signal is completed, the processor controls to stop the driving of the motor, and after stopping the driving of the motor, controls the motor to be re-driven for a preset driving time based on a measurement value of the sensor.
Washing machine and control method thereof
A washing machine includes a drum, a pulsator, a motor including a stator, a first rotor connected to the drum and second rotor connected to the pulsator, an inverter circuit connected to the motor, and at least one processor configured to control the inverter circuit to selectively drive the motor based on a plurality of driving modes, the plurality of driving modes including a first driving mode to rotate only the first rotor, a second driving mode to rotate only the second rotor, or a third driving mode to rotate both the first rotor and the second rotor, control the inverter circuit to stop both the first rotor and the second rotor in response to changing from one of the plurality of driving modes to an other one of the plurality of driving modes, and control the inverter circuit to drive the motor based on the changed driving mode.
Washing machine and method of controlling the same
A washing machine includes: a cabinet on a front side thereof with an inlet through which laundry is input; a tub inside the cabinet and having an opening corresponding to the inlet; a drum rotatably inside the tub; a motor configured to provide power for rotating the drum; a first vibration sensor configured to detect vibration generated from the tub; a second vibration sensor configured to detect vibration generated from the cabinet; and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to perform a spin-drying process according to a spin-drying profile defined by a rotational speed of the drum, and to control rotation of the drum based on a first vibration value corresponding to an output of the first vibration sensor and a second vibration value corresponding to an output of the second vibration sensor during a spin-drying process.
Laundry treating apparatus and method for controlling the same
A laundry treating apparatus includes a pressure vessel configured to receive fluid and to maintain a pressure therein to be higher than an atmospheric pressure, a separator that divides the pressure vessel into a first chamber and a second chamber, a drum rotatably disposed in the first chamber and configured to accommodate laundry therein, a driver configured to rotate the drum, and a pump configured to cause the fluid to flow between the first chamber and the second chamber.
