Insert and wear ring for a railway roller bearing
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a wear ring assembly is provided for a railway roller bearing. The wear ring assembly includes a wear ring having a central opening for receiving a journal of a railway wheel assembly and an insert including a plurality of spacers configured to extend in the opening of the wear ring to separate the wear ring from the journal. The spacers are spaced apart from each other about the wear ring. The insert may include one or more flanges that separate the wear ring from a bearing cone.
SEALING DEVICE
A sealing device is disposed between an inner member and an outer member of a rolling bearing that rotate relative to each other, and that acts to seal a gap between the inner member and the outer member. The sealing device includes an annular rigid part that is to be fixed to an inside of a hole of the outer member, the rigid part made from a rigid material; and an elastic part fixed to the rigid part, the elastic part made from an elastic material. The elastic part includes a seal lip having a truncated cone ring shape that is to be in slidable contact with the inner member or a member fixed to the inner member. Multiple bumps are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the seal lip, and are to be always in slidable contact with the inner member or the member fixed to the inner member. Clearances are provided between the seal lip and the inner member or the member fixed to the inner member in vicinities of the bumps.
UNIVERSAL FIT BACKING RING ASSEMBLY FOR RAILWAY AXLES
A backing ring assembly is for railway axles and includes a backing ring and an annular insert having L-shaped axial cross sections. The insert includes a sleeve portion fitted to a radially outer cylindrical surface of the backing ring, which delimits a first axial section thereof. The annular insert sleeve portion includes first and second axial sections hingedly connected by an intermediate, reduced thickness section designed to form a plastic hinge. The first axial section of the sleeve portion projects axially from the first section of the backing ring, which is provided with an annular projection designed to induce elastic deformation of the reduced thickness section to ensure that the second axial section of the sleeve portion is always coupled with the cylindrical outer surface of the backing ring first axial section by an interference fit.

ADAPTER ASSEMBLY OF GENERATOR AND AXLE-END GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
The disclosure provides an adapter assembly of a generator and an axle-end generator assembly. An adapter assembly includes a first part configured to mount to a wagon bogie and a second part connecting to the first part. The first part and the second part are configured to form a base for mounting a stator of a generator together.
Backing ring for railcar axle
A backing ring assembly for a railcar axle is provided. According to various aspects, the backing ring assembly may include a main body and a ring. The main body may include an inner surface configured to abut a fillet of a railcar axle and a receiving element on an inboard radial face of the main body. The ring may be engaged in the receiving element and may be configured to protrude over a cylindrical surface of a shoulder on the railcar axle. The ring may include an generally flat inner face, with or without a recess, and an outer face comprising a generally flat portion engaged in the receiving element and a radially extending flange not engaged in the receiving element.

Railcar adapter for connecting a railcar body to a bearing
A railcar adapter for radially connecting a railcar body to a bearing. The railcar adapter includes an adapter body, and a top cover mounted onto an outer surface of the adapter body. The top cover is provided with at least one curved outer surface to be in direct radial contact with the railcar body.

Railcar adapter for connecting a railcar body to a bearing
A railcar adapter for radially connecting a railcar body to a bearing. The railcar adapter includes an adapter body having two lateral channels each delimited by a pair of opposed lugs and a lateral surface perpendicular to the opposed lugs, lateral channels being adapted to cooperate with the railcar body. The railcar adapter also includes two frontal surfaces, an inner surface acting as a bearing seat for the bearing, and an outer surface. The railcar adapter provides two frontal flanges that inwardly protrude with respect to the inner surface, and that delimit with the inner surface a housing for the bearing, and at least one of the flanges is distinct from the adapter body and is mounted to a frontal surface of the body.
