Safety light device
A safety light device includes a body defining a central bore and having a generally annular shape, a pair of teeth configured to extend into the central bore in an extended position and retract into the body in a retracted position, a charging system configured to charge a battery, and a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) disposed on an outer portion of the body.
Portable light stand
A fillable base for a portable light stand, the base including: a hollow structure made from moulded plastics material, the hollow structure having an upper portion and a lower portion with a generally circular footprint. The lower portion of the hollow structure has a substantially vertical cylindrical outer side wall, and the upper portion of the hollow structure has a conical outer side wall. The conical outer side wall has an outer edge extending from a top edge of the cylindrical side wall to an apex of the upper portion of the structure. The structure also has a recess that opens at the apex and within which one end of an elongate pole can be received.
Reinforcing device for streetlight
A device for reinforcing a connection between a mounting bracket and a pole includes a first mounting arm having a first base with a first slot. A first projection extends from the first base for engaging a first side of the pole. A second mounting arm includes a second base with a second slot and a second projection extending from the second base for engaging a second side of the pole. A single fastener extends through the first and second slots in the first and second mounting arms, an opening in the mounting bracket, and into the pole for fixing the device to the pole.
Multi-functional streetlight
Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a multi-functional streetlight. In accordance with one aspect, the multi-functional streetlight includes a hexagonal shaped support structure, wherein the hexagonal shaped support structure includes an arm segment and wherein the arm segment includes a luminaire on an under side of the arm segment; and a base flange configured to couple the hexagonal shaped support structure to the ground.
Luminaire, street light, system and method
A luminaire is provided comprising a luminaire housing, a light module, and a communication module. The light module comprises a light source for emitting light from the luminaire and wherein the light module is accommodated at least partly within the luminaire housing. The communication module is configured for wireless transmitting and/or receiving communication signals which are unrelated to the lighting function of the luminaire and/or to the operation of the light module. The communication module is accommodated within the luminaire housing.
Street lamp holder
A street lamp holder, including a housing, in which an accommodation cavity, a first sealing groove around the accommodation cavity and a second sealing groove located in the accommodation cavity being formed; a light source accommodated in the accommodation cavity; an optical module accommodated in the accommodation cavity and covering an outer side of the light source; and a sealing member accommodated in the first sealing groove and/or the second sealing groove; the first sealing groove is arranged around the outer side of the light source, and when the sealing member is accommodated in the first sealing groove, a sealing cavity is formed between the accommodation cavity and the housing; the second sealing groove is located between the light source and the first sealing groove, and when the sealing member is accommodated in the second sealing groove, the sealing cavity is formed between the accommodation cavity and the optical module.
Luminaire with integrated RF communication
A luminaire comprises an outer housing and a wireless communications module mounted in the outer housing. The outer housing comprises at least first and second portions, wherein the first portion comprises an electrically conductive mesh with a first opening size to provide transparency to RF signals within an operating range of wavelengths of the communications module, and a second portion comprising a solid electrically conductive layer or an electrically conductive mesh with a second opening size, smaller than the first opening size. This second portion is thus optimized for an EM shielding function.
Outdoor luminaire for a streetlight
An outdoor luminaire with wireless functionality. A canopy is coupled to an uppermost surface or portion of a luminaire housing containing a light source. The volume bounded by the canopy and the luminaire housing defines a canopy enclosure. This canopy enclosure encloses a portion of a first heatsink (for the luminaire housing), a wireless module, an antenna system and a second heatsink for the wireless module. The canopy also comprises one or more air inlets and one or more air outlets, to allow air to flow into and out of the canopy enclosure. The first heatsink comprises one or more fins that extend toward an upper portion of the canopy.
Delta luminaire—photovoltaic powered roadway and area lighting luminaire
A modular, low profiled, scalable, self-powered integrated structure luminaire is coupled electromechanically to a vertical structure that supports a power storage device.
Road innovation lighting devices
A lighting device for roadway illumination is disclosed, comprising a projector LED lighting assembly housed within a housing. The housing includes at least one slot tilted at an angle relative to a horizontal reference plane, enabling the emitted light to be directed in an angular fashion. The slot is configured to guide the light at an angle ranging from approximately 1 to 20 degrees downward, optimizing illumination for roadways, streets, and other ground-level applications. The device enhances visibility and safety by providing controlled, directional lighting while maintaining a versatile and durable design suitable for various outdoor environments.
