TRANSPARENT AND TRANSLUCENT GLASS-CERAMICS AND GLASSES FOR FORMING THE SAME
A glass-ceramic may comprise a phase assemblage comprising lithium disilicate (Li.sub.2Si.sub.2O.sub.5) as the primary crystalline phase and a residual amorphous glass phase. The glass-ceramic may further comprise greater than or equal to 0 wt % to less than 8 wt % CaO. A ratio of Al.sub.2O.sub.3 (wt %) to Li.sub.2O (wt %) in the glass-ceramic may be greater than or equal to 0 and less than 0.50. The glass-ceramic may have a transmittance of greater than 88% for wavelengths of light within a range from greater than or equal to 400 nm to less than or equal to 750 nm.
Laptop case with foldable shade assembly
A clamshell-style laptop case with a foldable shade assembly that, when expanded, shades and protects a laptop that's placed within the opened case. A shade assembly, positioned within the interior of the clamshell case, includes a visor panel, side panels, a rear panel, and lower panel. When the case is opened, the shade assembly can be expanded from its collapsed position by lifting the visor panel upward as it rotates along a hinge connecting it to the rear panel, while the side panels simultaneously expand from a folded position. The side panels remain permanently attached to the shade assembly, reducing the steps required to expand and collapse the shade assembly. The shade assembly may incorporate a friction hinge connecting the shade assembly's lower panel and rear panel which enables the rear panel to rotate greater than 90 degrees to the lower panel, providing improved functionality and accessibility during use.
Charging apparatus for smart watches
Devices and products for charging smart watches are described. According to one embodiment, a charging stand apparatus for charging a smart watch enclosed in a protective cover comprises a housing and at least one extension connector to electrically couple with at least one connector of a low power charging system for charging the smart watch at a first end of the at least one extension connector and to electrically couple with at least one side connector of a rechargeable battery unit of the smart watch formed on a case of the smart watch at a second end of the at least one extension connector opposite to the first end.
Protective Case and Airflow Generating Method Thereof
A protective case and an airflow generating method thereof are disclosed to dissipate heat from a portable electronic device. The protective case includes a housing, adapted to accommodate the portable electronic device, and an airflow generating device, integrated in the housing. By providing external active cooling and protective covering functions, the protective case improves performance and reliability of the portable electronic device without requiring modifications to its internal configuration.
FOLDABLE DEVICE
A foldable device includes a first mechanical part, a second mechanical part, a third mechanical part, a first hinge mechanism, a second hinge mechanism, and a flexible display. One end of the first mechanical part is rotatably connected to the second mechanical part through the first hinge mechanism, and the other end of the first mechanical part is rotatably connected to the third mechanical part through the second hinge mechanism. The flexible display includes a support layer and a cover layer. The support layer is fastened to a part of the first mechanical part and the second mechanical part, and the cover layer is fastened to the other part of the first mechanical part and the third mechanical part. Alternatively, the second mechanical part and the third mechanical part are separately folded toward different sides of the first mechanical part.
PROTECTIVE BOOT FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A protective boot for an electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises a guide rail on the side of the electronic device. The protective boot comprises a rim that is configured to extend around a periphery of the electronic device, a strap portion that comprises a first portion that extends from the rim, and a bottom portion that defines a cut-out relative to the first portion of the strap portion. Further, the cut-out is configured to allow the guide rail of the electronic device to mate with a corresponding feature of a charging base when the rim of the protective boot extends around the periphery of the electronic device.
TABLET COMPUTER PROTECTIVE CASE DEVICE
A tablet computer protective case device is used for storing a tablet computer, and the tablet computer includes a tablet female connector. The tablet computer protective case device includes a protective case body.
