The disinfecting chamber is for holding the disinfecting substance and immersing it in the water, and the first through hole is for allowing water to pass through. The lighting component is configured for projecting light to form a column of light. The pump component is for pumping water through the water outlet channel to the water spray hole to form a column of water.

A suction pool cleaner, including a housing, an impeller, a driving member, a first baffle plate and a second baffle plate. The housing has a water inlet and a water outlet. The impeller is located in the housing between the inlet and the outlet. The driving member includes a main body and a drive shaft arranged thereon. The impeller is sleeved on the drive shaft, and the driving member drives the impeller to rotate around the drive shaft to generate a suction force. The first baffle plate is located in the housing between the impeller and the inlet, and an axis of the drive shaft passes through the first baffle plate. Described is a container, a cartridge, a kit and method for slow release of algaecide in swimming pools. The container includesa hollow housing having a top portion with an internal cavity defining a sub-hollow space within the housing; an open bottom portion for filling the housing with the algaecide; and a lid for closing the open bottom portion of the housing. The cartridge includes a container having a top portion having an internal cavity defining a sub-hollow space within the housing, that sub-hollow space having a dissolving powderous compound. The cartridge further includes a dissolving algaecide composition cast inside the housing and covering the dissolving powderous compound. Described also is a method for the slow release of algaecide, and kits including the cartridge. Slow release of algaecide during an extended period with the cartridge is helpful in the maintenance of swimming pools, particularly during the wintering period.
