To prevent or suppress the occurrence of tearing of an elastic film between stretchable regions in an elastic sheet stretchable structure. An elastic sheet stretchable structure is provided, in which an elastic film is laminated between a first sheet layer having air permeability and a second sheet layer having air permeability, and the first sheet layer and the second sheet layer are bonded at a large number of sheet bonded portions arranged at intervals. At the boundary between a first stretchable region and a second stretchable region, a separation distance Px in an elastic limit elongation state between a bonded portion located on a side of the boundary of the first stretchable region in a stretchable direction and a bonded portion located on a side of the boundary of the second stretchable region in a stretchable direction is 10 mm or less.

Eco-friendly wearable dipped article and method of manufacturing

The present invention generally relates to an eco-friendly wearable article comprising a nutrient complex capable of efficiently able to reduce or eliminate methane gas emission during biodegradation of the article, and a method of making the eco-friendly wearable article containing the nutrient complex. Preferably, the nutrient complex typically comprises anionic sulphate ions and cationic salts of iron(II) and copper(II), thereby facilitating methane oxidation in an anaerobic environment such as a landfill.

Softer blended nitrile elastomeric article

An elastomeric article is formed from a blend of nitrile rubber and polychloroprene rubber. The elastomeric article can be a glove, such as a medical exam glove. The elastomeric article is softer than a conventional nitrile elastomeric article. The elastomeric article is formed from a blended rubber latex emulsion of nitrile and polychloroprene. The blended rubber latex emulsion may be free of sulfur and vulcanization accelerators.

Method of manufacture of custom cranial remodeling devices by additive manufacturing

A method for fabricating a custom cranial remodeling device for correction of cranial deformities in a subject is described. The method comprises generating a three-dimensional head data file for the subject and determining contour lines on the head. The method further comprises automatically generating a modified head shape data file and juxtaposing the modified head shape with the head represented by the three-dimensional head data file having the contour lines thereon. Still further the method includes utilizing the modified head shape data file to generate a shape for a desired custom cranial remodeling device, the shape having an interior surface to contact the head and an outer surface. The method also includes projecting lines outward from the contour lines to the outer surface and utilizing the projected lines to establish cranial remodeling device contour lines for the custom cranial remodeling device.

A faceblank (5) for a respiratory protective device or face mask hygiene product (1), where the shape of the faceblank (5) defines a number of filter openings (2, 3, 4) and which further comprises a head harness (6) or fastening for a head harness (6) and is characterised in that the filter openings (2, 3, 4) have been implemented to comprise a tongue (7), most advantageously so that the edge of each opening (2, 3, 4) is composed of a tongue. The faceblank is used with a number of replaceable filters (10) adapted in the filter openings (2, 3, 4) of the faceblank (5), each filter (10) comprising a filter part (11) and a frame (12) that encircles the filter part (11), in which frame (12) the outer edge has been implemented to comprise a groove (13)most advantageously so that the outer edge of each frame (12) consists of a groove (13)so that the filters (10) are fastenable to the filter openings (2, 3, 4) of the faceblank (5) by means of a tongue-and-groove connection, in which case the tongue (7) and groove (13) form an air-tight tongue-and-groove connection. Further independent claims directed to filters and methods for the manufacture of reinforced textile part, nonwoven fabric part or their combination part.

Apparatus and process for the thermo-forming and/or thermo-adhesive bonding of semi-finished products

An apparatus for the thermo-forming and/or thermo-adhesive bonding of semi-finished products comprises: an oven (6) having walls (8, 9, 11, 12) delimiting a chamber (13) configured for housing at least one semi-finished product (4); devices (15, 16, 20) for generating a flow of heated fluid; wherein at least one of the walls (11) has a plurality of openings (19) in fluid communication with the devices (15, 16, 20). Baffles (23) and/or closing elements (24) are mounted near at least some of the openings (19). The baffles (23) are configured to divert the heated fluid leaving the openings (19). The closing elements (24) are configured to obstruct some of the openings (19). The baffles (23) and/or the closing elements (24) are movable with respect to the walls (11) and/or they are replaceable, in order to change conditions of the flow of heated fluid in the chamber (13).

THERMOPLASTIC NON-WOVEN TEXTILE ELEMENTS

A non-woven textile may be formed from a plurality of thermoplastic polymer filaments. The non-woven textile may have a first region and a second region, with the filaments of the first region being fused to a greater degree than the filaments of the second region. A variety of products, including apparel (e.g., shirts, pants, footwear), may incorporate the non-woven textile. In some of these products, the non-woven textile may be joined with another textile element to form a seam. More particularly, an edge area of the non-woven textile may be heatbonded with an edge area of the other textile element at the seam. In other products, the non-woven textile may be joined with another component, whether a textile or a non-textile.
