LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE
A light-emitting device according to an embodiment includes: a base substrate; a plurality of light-emitting cells disposed on the surface of the base substrate and configured to generate light; a plurality of connection metal layers for connecting the plurality of light-emitting cells so that the plurality of light-emitting cells are electrically connected in series; a plurality of bump pads respectively disposed on the plurality of connection metal layers; and a control unit configured to apply current to at least some of the plurality of bump pads so that light is generated from at least one of the plurality of light-emitting cells.
SELECTIVE TRANSFER OF MICRO-LEDS
A method of fabricating a micro-LED display (300), the method comprising: providing (102) a micro-LED wafer (302) comprising an array of LEDs (304) deposited on a growth substrate (306); depositing (110) an adhesion layer (308) so as to cover the micro-LED wafer (302) while leaving one or more selected LEDs exposed; depositing (112) a backplane (310) on the adhesion layer (308), such that the backplane (310) is aligned with and operatively connected to the exposed one or more LEDs; and removing (114) the deposited backplane (310) and connected one or more LEDs to a display substrate (312).
COLOR CONVERSION FILM ARRAY AND PRODUCING METHOD THEREOF
A color conversion film array includes a first color conversion sub-film array and a second color conversion sub-film array, wherein each color conversion sub-film includes a photoresist and an organic fluorescent material, and may further includes inorganic oxide nanoparticles. The organic fluorescent materials are all hydrocarbons that are friendly to the environment. The manufacture of the first and second color conversion sub-film arrays merely requires exposure and development, and the process temperature is lower than 120 C., which can avoid degradation of the organic fluorescent material. The pixel density of the manufactured color conversion film array exceeds 5000 PPI.
LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE AND LIGHTING APPARATUS USING THE SAME
A light-emitting device includes a substrate, power supply terminals on the substrate, first light-emitting elements and second light-emitting elements configured to emit light by supplying electric power between the power supply terminals, and a light exit surface configured to allow exit of light emitted from these light-emitting elements. The light exit surface includes a first light exit region being a plane region, and second light exit regions being a plane region not including the first light exit region. A light-emitting element group has a first light-emitting element group configured with a plurality of first light-emitting elements in the first light exit region, and a second light-emitting element group configured with a plurality of second light-emitting elements in the second light exit region. An average luminance of light exited from the first light exit region is higher than that from the second light exit region.
