12473688 · 2025-11-18 · ·

A carbene co-grafted modified fabric, a preparation method therefor, and an application thereof. Diazotized cotton fabric is sequentially subjected to a reaction with tert-butyl diazoacetate and octyl diazoacetate to obtain the carbene co-grafted modified fabric; or diazotized cotton fabric is sequentially subjected to a reaction with phenyl diazoacetate and octyl diazoacetate to obtain the carbene co-grafted modified fabric. Taking phenyl diazoacetate and tert-butyl diazoacetate as monomers, co-grafting into a cotton fabric is respectively performed with octyl diazoacetate carbene, a surface structure having low surface energy and good roughened morphology is constructed on a fiber surface, and excellent water repellency is consequently provided.

Obtaining warp knit fabrics from cotton yarn with warp knitting machines

Nonfluorinated hydrophobic waterborne treatments and coatings
12577724 · 2026-03-17 · ·

The present invention relates generally to methods of producing, using, and storing stable aqueously dispersed superhydrophobic compositions made from these compositions to provide superhydrophobic treatments on a range of porous, semi-porous, and non-porous target materials and surfaces as well as combinations of these materials and surfaces. More particularly, the present invention provides stably dispersed waterborne superhydrophobic compositions comprising colloidal silica or hydrophobically-modified silicon dioxide (i.e., silica) and one or more additional agents and/or compounds. When the compositions of the present invention are applied (e.g., via spray deposition, immersion, liquid application, and the like) to a suitable target material and/or surface the target is imparted with a durable (super)hydrophobic coating.

Electrochromic wire thread and relative fabrics

The present invention is directed to eyectrochromic, supercapacitor yarns and the related fabrics. An electrochromic yarn formed by two interwind threads has been invented. The yarn is electrically isolated by a transparent, uncolored polymer. Each thread is the superposition of three concentric layers. The most internal one, the core, has the function of support and/or conductive layer, the second one is the eiectrochromic layer containing conductive nanoparticies, the third layer is a polymer dielectric blend. The yarns described above allows to generate electrochromic fabrics in which the colour can be varied by the application of small electric voltages fed by a battery with variable power supply controlled by a microprocessor connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth technology. A specific application on the smartphone allows to change the voltage supply to the fabrics, in order to get the desired chromatic change.

Aniline acid anhydride, preparation method therefor, and polyamino acid-grafted chain
12606530 · 2026-04-21 · ·

Disclosed are an aniline anhydride, a preparation method therefor, and a polyaminoacid graft chain. In the presence of an acid binding agent, an addition-elimination reaction is carried out between N-phenyl amino acid and Boc anhydride to obtain N-phenyl-Boc-glycine; and under a nitrogen atmosphere, the N-phenyl-Boc-glycine is subject to cyclization to obtain the aniline anhydride. The polyaminoacid graft chain can be obtained using the aniline anhydride disclosed by means of chemical grafting and thus be covalently bonded with fiber. The fastness is high, the wearability of fabric is not affected, and the problem of low fastness of water-repellent fabric obtained by coating is solved. The polyaminoacid graft chain is biocompatible, naturally degradable and environmentally friendly, and is consistent with the current trend of developing green chemicals.

Fibrillated fiber and method for preparing the same

The present disclosure relates to fibrillated fibers and a method for preparing the same. In the present disclosure, there is provided a preparation method capable of providing fibers suitable for complexing with plastics in a more simplified process. According to the preparation method of the present disclosure, microfibers can be easily miniaturized with little energy by growing fine particles on the microfibers to fibrillate the microfibers, and then applying a shear force thereto, and various physical properties can be expressed from the grown fine particles.
