Provided are a display panel and a display device. The display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate opposite to each other, where the first substrate includes a first elastic layer, a first buffer layer and a plurality of first encapsulation structures, the first encapsulation structures respectively include at least one first-type sub-pixel; and the second substrate includes a second elastic layer, a second buffer layer, and a plurality of second encapsulation structures, the second encapsulation structures respectively include at least one second-type sub-pixel. The display panel includes a first region and a second region, and the first region and the second region are arranged along a first direction; and in the first region and/or the second region, the first buffer layer and the second buffer layer have different stretching amounts in a same direction.

An electronic device includes a display panel including a base layer including an active area, which includes a hole area, an encapsulation layer covering light-emitting elements and including a first encapsulation inorganic layer, an encapsulation organic layer, and a second encapsulation inorganic layer, and dam patterns disposed on the hole area, and an input sensor including an organic pattern layer which overlaps a first sensing insulating layer, first conductive patterns, a second sensing insulating layer, second conductive patterns, a third sensing insulating layer, and the hole area, is disposed on the first sensing insulating layer, and is covered on the second sensing insulating layer. A module hole overlapping the hole area is defined, and the second encapsulation inorganic layer, the first sensing insulating layer, the second sensing insulating layer, and the third sensing insulating layer contact each other on at least one top surface of the dam patterns.

An electronic device includes a display panel including a base layer including an active area, which includes a hole area, an encapsulation layer covering light-emitting elements and including a first encapsulation inorganic layer, an encapsulation organic layer, and a second encapsulation inorganic layer, and dam patterns disposed on the hole area, and an input sensor including an organic pattern layer which overlaps a first sensing insulating layer, first conductive patterns, a second sensing insulating layer, second conductive patterns, a third sensing insulating layer, and the hole area, is disposed on the first sensing insulating layer, and is covered on the second sensing insulating layer. A module hole overlapping the hole area is defined, and the second encapsulation inorganic layer, the first sensing insulating layer, the second sensing insulating layer, and the third sensing insulating layer contact each other on at least one top surface of the dam patterns.

A display device may include a substrate, a plurality of light emitting elements disposed on the substrate and generating light, and a bank portion disposed on the substrate, protruding from the substrate, and adjacent to at least one of the plurality of light emitting elements. The plurality of light emitting elements may include a first light emitting element generating light of a first color and including an inorganic material, and a second light emitting element generating light of a second color different from the first color, the second light emitting element may include an organic material, and the bank portion may be disposed between the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element.

A display device may include a substrate, a plurality of light emitting elements disposed on the substrate and generating light, and a bank portion disposed on the substrate, protruding from the substrate, and adjacent to at least one of the plurality of light emitting elements. The transparent conductive layer is disposed on the filling layer. The transparent conductive layer electrically connects the first semiconductor element and the second semiconductor element. The first metal layer is disposed under the filling layer and includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is electrically connected to at least one of the first semiconductor element and the second semiconductor element. The second portion is disposed on a side surface of the filling layer. The semiconductor chip of the disclosure is adapted to reduce a defect rate or power consumption.

A display device and a display panel are discussed. The display device can include a substrate, a bank disposed on the substrate, a cathode electrode disposed on the bank, an encapsulation layer disposed on the cathode electrode, a touch insulation layer disposed on the encapsulation layer, and a touch metal disposed on the touch insulation layer. The display device provides an advantage of preventing or reducing the formation of parasitic capacitance in the touch metal through a trench structure of the bank.
