Direct action window lock
A window latch for a sliding window having a sliding sash including a latch plate and a housing. The housing includes an engagement element movable relative to the housing from a locked position operatively engaged with the latch plate to an unlocked position disengaged from the latch plate. A handle is operatively coupled to the engagement element and movable from a first position to a second position in a first direction corresponding to the direction the sliding sash to which the handle is attached moves to an open position. The handle operatively moves the engagement element from the locked position to the unlocked position as the handle is moved in the first direction toward the second position.
DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY AND PROCESS FOR EXTENDING AND/OR RETRACTING OF DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY
This invention is directed to a door handle which is normally hidden within the door, be it either completely flush with a door surface, or partially protruding from said door surface. If a user wants to use the handle, then the user activates the handle using convention actuating techniques to extend the handle from the recess. Should an external object be placed between the handle and the door surface after the handle is operated and the retraction process begins, the handle movement is limited in the downward direction by the extension of an elastic link between the door handle and the rest of the retraction mechanism.
Pressing Type Latch Device
A pressing type latch device includes a seat, a pivotal seat mounted in the seat, and a handle having a grasping portion pivotably connected to two eccentric locations of the pivotal seat, such that a greater operational height can be formed when the handle is lifted. When the latch device is in one of a plurality of retainable open positions or a retainable closed position, the grasping portion of the handle can be moved to a position to lift the pivotal seat, such that the grasping portion of the handle lies flush with the pivotal seat. On the other hand, when the grasping portion of the handle is lifted to move the pivotal seat downward, the handle and the pivotal seat can rotate freely. Since the latch device includes a closed position and a plurality of open positions, the latch device can be installed and used more easily.
KNOB TO LATCH INTERFACE, METHOD OF INTERFACING A KNOB TO A ROTATABLE LATCH
According to one embodiment of the disclosure, a knob to latch interface includes a body, a latch in operable communication with the body movable between a latched position and an unlatched position, and a knob longitudinally positionable between a first position and a second position relative to the body and in operable communication with the latch, an outer radial extent of the knob being operationally engagable only while in one of the first position and the second position.
HANDLES WITH RETRACTED AND EXTENDED POSITIONS
Examples described herein include handles with extended and retracted positions. In some examples, a handle comprises a housing and a knob. The knob may have a first surface and a circumferential sidewall. The knob may have a retracted position in the housing and an extended position. In the extended position, the circumferential sidewall protrudes from the housing and the knob is rotatable between a first position and a second position.
Door closure and related method of use
A closure for a door of a structure, for example, a wildlife observation or hunting blind, is provided. The closure can include a base plate, a door latch, a handle, and at least one tracking bar spaced from the base plate to form a gap, sized to receive part of a door panel. The tracking bar can include a primary sliding surface that faces and slides relative to a first side of the panel when converting the closure from a locked mode to an open mode. The plate can include a guide bar slidable within a panel guide slot coextensive with a transverse opening sized so the tracking bar can fit through it and retain the base plate and handle in sliding relation proximate the panel. The door closure can be installed relative to the door manually, without the use of tools. A related method of use is provided.
Electronic cabinet lock
An electronic cabinet lock includes a handgrip pivotably connected with a housing unit, a swingable member swingably disposed on the handgrip, and first and second magnet members disposed on the handgrip and the swingable member and constantly attractive with each other. A latch member is controlled by a control unit to move in the up-down direction to be disposed forwardly of and abut against an upper end of the swingable member. A lock cylinder unit is disposed below the handgrip and includes a lock tongue movable in the up-down direction to be disposed forwardly of and abut against a lower end of the swingable member. During swinging of the swingable member where the swingable member is in abutting engagement with the latch member or the lock tongue, with the magnet members, the swingable member is moved back to render the swingable member well functioning after long term use.
Door handle
The present invention relates to a door handle and, more specifically, to a door handle which may comprise: a housing which is fixed to a door and has an inner space; a drive part which supplies rotational power; a rotating guide which is connected to the drive part to receive rotational power therefrom and rotate within the housing; and a handle part which is disposed within the rotating guide, and protrudes out of the housing by forward rotation of the rotating guide and is retracted into the housing by reverse rotation of the rotating guide.
DISH WASHER
A dish washer includes a handle configured to protrude in a frontward direction from a door when opening or closing the door, thereby preventing accumulation of foreign substances such as dusts on the handle to keep the handle in a clean state, and improving user convenience. The handle is configured to retract to an inside of the door when the door is not being used.
Door handle emergency extension system for vehicle and control method thereof
The present invention is configured to include a first energy-amplifying actuator configured to release a door locking mechanism by outputting energy greater than the energy received, a second energy-amplifying actuator configured to extend a door handle from a door by outputting energy greater than the energy received, a controller equipped to drive the first energy-amplifying actuator and the second energy-amplifying actuator when the vehicle stopped moving is in a state where the door handle is not extended normally to facilitate opening the door, and an emergency power supply equipped to supply power to the controller independently of the vehicle power supply device.
