Disclosed is a light assembly that has an integral bulb shell and lamp assembly extension that are formed from a single structure. A separate LED assembly can be inserted into an opening in the lamp assembly extension and held in place by a heat shrinkable sleeve and a locking structure in the lamp assembly extension.
