Ventilator unit and method for autonomous ventilation using the ventilator unit
The invention relates to a ventilator unit comprising a housing defining an air passage with a first port and a second port, a valve arranged in the air passage to control the air flow rate through the air passage, an actuator configured to operate the valve, and a controller configured to drive the actuator. The housing at the first port is configured to connect the first port to a duct outlet, and wherein the controller is configured to autonomously determine a drive signal to be sent to the actuator based on air measurement data.
Filtration of HVAC system for improved indoor air quality
A heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes an air handling unit having an air handling unit outlet, and at least one zone having an inlet and an outlet. The at least one zone is operably coupled to the air handling unit outlet. A return air duct fluidly connecting the outlet to the air handling unit and at least one sterilization system arranged within the return air duct at or directly downstream from the outlet. At least one indoor air quality sensor operable to monitor an indoor air quality within the at least one zone. A controller is operably coupled to the at least one indoor air quality sensor and the at least one sterilization system. The controller is configured to operate the at least one sterilization system when the indoor air quality within the at least one zone exceeds an allowable threshold.
Smart air control in a storage space
A processor may receive an air dataset associated with a smart environment having one or more storage objects. The processor may simulate the smart environment using the air dataset. The processor may apply an optimization criteria to the simulation of the smart environment. The processor may generate an optimum smart environment design associated with an improved air condition level of the smart environment and the optimization criteria.
