Washing machine providing fitted default washing options for user using learning method based on artificial intelligence and a system including the same
An artificial intelligence apparatus determines whether a washing option in a washing course according to the input of a user is changed when input of the user is received, and collect use history information when the washing option is changed. In addition, the artificial intelligence apparatus inputs the collected use history information to an option resetting model to acquire a second washing option for resetting the washing course, and resets the washing option included in the washing course according to the second washing option.
Methods and devices for individualized laundry
A computer-implemented method for creating a bespoke laundry treatment recipe includes receiving fabric data related to one or more of stain identity, fabric identity, user requirements and user preference; comparing by means of a data processing system said input data with ingredient combination data stored on a non-transitory computer readable storage medium, and formulating one or more laundry treatment recipes, said recipes being bespoke to the user input data; wherein said ingredient combination data comprises: multiple ingredient composition data; multiple combinations of said ingredient compositions; and multiple treatment (e.g. stain) categories related to said ingredient composition combinations.
Laundry treating apparatus and method for controlling the same
The present disclosure relates to a laundry treating apparatus that is provided to supply steam into a drum accommodating laundry therein and to supply hot water or the steam to a region outside the drum to also sterilize the region outside the drum, and a method for controlling the same.
Clothing treatment apparatus and control method therefor
The present specification relates to a clothing treatment apparatus and a control method therefor, the clothing treatment apparatus comprising: a plurality of inverters for controlling the motors of a drum, a compressor, and a blowing fan; a converter for converting input power input from an external source and outputting the converted power to the inverters; and a control unit for controlling the plurality of inverters and the converter.
Adjusted operation of a combination washer/dryer appliance
A combination washer/dryer appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a laundry basket, a heater, and a controller. The laundry basket may be rotatably mounted within the tub and define a chamber for receipt of articles for washing or drying. The controller may be operably coupled to the heater and configured to initiate a wash/dry operation. The wash/dry operation may include initiating a wash/dry operation for articles within the laundry basket. The wash/dry operation may include a wash cycle and a dry cycle. The wash/dry operation may further include determining completion of the wash cycle and directing a tumble cycle of the laundry basket in response to determining completion of the wash cycle. The wash/dry operation may still further include determining a user drying preference during the tumble cycle of the laundry basket and adjusting the wash/dry operation based on the determined user drying preference.
Vacuum-based method and apparatus for cleaning soiled articles
Disclosed herein, in certain embodiments, are vacuum-based systems, products, devices, and methods for de-odorizing, disinfecting, or cleaning articles such as clothing, shoes, toys, or dishes. A system or device can comprise a vacuum chamber comprising a housing defining an internal space having an internal pressure and an opening; a vacuum lid adapted to engage with the opening of the vacuum chamber; and a vacuum source connected to the vacuum chamber, wherein operation of the vacuum source reduces the internal pressure of the internal space of the vacuum chamber, wherein the lower internal pressure enhances the vaporization and removal of odors located on one or more articles disposed within the vacuum chamber.
Dryer control method
The present invention relates to a dryer control method comprising: an air supply step for supplying air to a drum via an air supply unit; a first agitation step for controlling a drive unit so that the drum carries out a second motion and a third motion from when the air supply step begins until a preset reference time is reached; and a second agitation step for controlling the drive unit so that the drum carries out a first motion, the second motion and the third motion from when the reference time is reached until the completion of the air supply step.
Automatic self-clean cycle prior to drying cycle in a laundry appliance
A laundry appliance includes a drum rotatably mounted within a cabinet and defining a chamber configured for receiving a load of clothes, a door pivotally mounted to the cabinet for providing selective access to the chamber, and a user interface for controlling operation of the laundry appliance. A controller is configured to monitor the number of wash cycles that have occurred in the laundry appliance since the last self-clean cycle. Once the laundry appliance reaches a predetermined number of wash cycles without an intervening self-clean cycle, an automatic self-clean cycle is initiated upon the next selection of a drying cycle by the user, wherein the drying cycle provides an indication that the chamber is empty of article of laundry and that the user has no further immediate washing needs. In these circumstances, the controller is configured to reconfigure the selected drying cycle into a combination cycle including a self-clean cycle which is automatically followed by the desired drying cycle.
Laundry dryer control system
A laundry dryer control method comprising: setting the dryer to a default drying operation; performing the default drying operation when a user selects the default setting and does not select a dry boost setting; and performing a non-default drying operation when a user selects the default setting and does select a dry boost setting. In default operation, the dryer operates the drum and fan, and operates supplemental drying mechanism according to a predetermined schedule of on cycles and off cycles. If dry boost is selected, or if another non-default cycle is selected, the dryer operates the drum, fan and supplemental drying mechanism using a temperature feedback control loop, and operates until the laundry reaches a first dryness threshold.
Detecting a presence of a cleaning agent during a self-clean cycle of a washing machine appliance
A method for operating a washing machine appliance may comprise a step of monitoring, with a sensor, a conductivity measurement of a tub of the washing machine appliance. The method may also include a step of receiving an input indicative of a selection of a self-clean cycle of the washing machine appliance. The method may further include a step of activating the self-clean cycle of the washing machine appliance. The method may also include a step of recording the conductivity measurement of the tub in response to the self-clean cycle being activated. The method may further include a step of comparing the recorded conductivity measurement to a first reference conductivity value. The method may also include a step of determining, based on the compared recorded conductivity measurement and the first reference conductivity value, the presence of a cleaning agent within the tub.
