An injection mould having a first mould half (17) and a second mould half (18) which can be displaced relative to the first in a first direction (z). At least one of the mould halves has a slider arrangement (1) for forming a mould cavity (15). The slider arrangement (1) includes at least two sliders (2) which are moveable relative to one another between a closed and an open position and which are arranged so as to be displaceable with respect to a component (3), adjacent to the sliders (2), of the associated mould halves (17, 18) by means of first and second guide means (6, 7) respectively. A slider drive (4) is used to displace the sliders (2) between the open position and the closed position.

System and method for automatedly detecting and rejecting cores having a non-conforming core color prior to covering

Automated system and method wherein the color of each core is detected and distinguished before the core is covered, and any core having a non-conforming core color is rejected and released/removed/eliminated from further processing.

A hot to cold runner system for a golf ball injection mold is disclosed. The hot to cold runner system includes a hot runner for supplying layer-forming material in a molten state, the hot runner including a heated manifold having a hot runner drop connected thereto, and a cold runner operatively connected to the hot runner drop such that the cold runner is in fluid communication with the hot runner. The cold runner injects the material into a mold cavity to form a golf ball layer over a core. Methods of forming a golf ball layer by injection molding using the hot to cold runner system are also disclosed.

The present invention relates to a freeze-drying mold and a method for manufacturing water-soluble polymer balls using the same, more specifically to a freeze-drying mold that is provided with a first mold having a plurality of first accommodation grooves formed on underside thereof and a plurality of discharge portions formed on top thereof to communicate with the plurality of first accommodation grooves and a second mold having a plurality of second accommodation grooves formed on top thereof to be facingly coupled to the plurality of first accommodation grooves of the first mold to thus provide a plurality of accommodation portions, and a method for manufacturing water-soluble polymer balls using the same. According to the present invention, the freeze-drying mold is capable of controlling the shrinkage rate of a solution in a freeze-drying process to make freeze-dried spherical materials, easily separating the made freeze-dried materials therefrom, and optimizing a drying efficiency thereof, and the method for manufacturing water-soluble polymer balls using the same is carried out so that the water-soluble polymer balls are constant in pore sizes and distributions, have high strength, and do not have any films on the surfaces thereof.

Pickleball ball

A pickleball ball is provided for increasing durability, improving performance, and/or reducing the loudness and/or frequency of sound generated when said ball strikes a paddle. The ball being a hollow ball comprised of a spherical shell defining a hollow cavity. The ball is made of a graphene-infused polymer material and the shell defines a plurality of holes distributed around the surface of the ball.
