SERINE PROTEASES
The present disclosure relates to serine proteases and variants thereof. Compositions containing the serine proteases are suitable for use in cleaning fabrics and hard surfaces, as well as in a variety of industrial applications.
CONTROL OF SCALE IN WAREWASH APPLICATIONS
Provided are compositions useful for cleaning, such as warewashing. The compositions comprise (a) a polymer comprising polymerized units of (i) an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer or salt thereof, (ii) an ethylenically unsaturated sulfonic acid monomer or salt thereof, and optionally (iii) one or more further monomers or salt thereof, the polymer having a Mw from 2000 to 100,000; (b) a water soluble silicate; (c) an alkaline source; and (d) optionally a surfactant.
Compositions and methods for removing soil from surfaces
The present invention relates to a an aqueous composition for removing soils from a surface to be cleaned, formed from water, a detergent mixture and a rinse aid, wherein the detergent mixture comprises a peroxidation catalyst and wherein the rinse aid comprises an oxygen source. Such a composition may provide a more effective cleaning behaviour. The present invention further relates to a method for removing soil from a surface to be cleaned comprising applying to the surface to be cleaned a composition according to the invention.
Method of removing PVA from a 3D printing process
A method of removing polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based scaffold from a 3D printed part formed by a 3D printing process that renders a finished product for immediate use. The method principally involves preparing an acidic-aqueous cleansing solution comprising a mixture of carboxylic acid and water; immersing the 3D printed part conventionally bonded with PVA-based scaffold into the acidic-aqueous cleansing solution for a select amount of time to break down and remove the PVA-based scaffold from the 3D printed part; and adding to the acidic-aqueous cleansing solution a select quantity of polymeric carbohydrate to crosslink and bond with the PVA-based scaffold to effect dissolution thereof into the acidic-aqueous cleansing solution.
TWO-IN-ONE DISHWASH DETERGENT
The present invention relates to a concentrate composition and its use solution for disinfecting and cleaning hard surfaces. The concentrate composition and the use solution comprise an alkylamidopropyl betaine, amphoteric surfactants and biocidal active substances at a moderately alkaline pH. The inventive composition is suitable for disinfecting and cleaning hard surfaces, in particular hard surfaces in contact with food products, such as surfaces found in food processing, manual warewashing, food services and health care industries. Methods of applying and making such concentrate composition and use solution are also provided.
Home Care Compositions
Described herein are hard-surface cleaning compositions comprising: an alkyl polyglycoside; an organic solvent comprising a diol having the formula: C.sub.nH.sub.2n(OH).sub.2, wherein n=3 to 10 and mixtures thereof; an alpha hydroxy acid; and a humectant. Methods of making and using these hard-surface cleaning compositions are also described herein.
Container comprising a detergent composition containing salts of MGDA and GLDA
The present application is related to a container made of a polymer and containing a single unit dose of a detergent composition. The detergent composition contains at least two complexing agents (A) dissolved in an aqueous medium. The complexing agents (A) are (A1) at least one alkali metal salt of methyl glycine diacetic acid (MGDA), and (A2) at least one alkali metal salt of glutamic acid diacetic acid (GLDA). The complexing agents (A1) and (A2) are partially neutralized with alkali and the weight ratio of (A1) and (A2) ranges from 1:9 to 9:1. The aqueous medium contains at least 25% by weight of water relative to the entire liquid phase.
Spray container comprising a detergent composition
The need for a container and detergent composition which exhibit good cleaning, including on greasy soils, and good surface shine, while also maintaining spray visibility on the treated hard surface, is met by formulating an aqueous detergent composition using a low level of surfactant system, an aminoalcohol solvent, and a glycol ether solvent, at the specified ratios.
ARTICLES OF MANUFACTURE COMPRISING NANOCELLULOSE ELEMENTS
The present invention provides formulations comprising a suspension of nanocellulose (NC) elements and a drying/dispersal additive selected from the group consisting of temperature-responsive polymers, small molecule additives in volatile systems, and blocking agents and methods of preparing such formulations, and further provides NC-containing materials, composite materials and useful articles of manufacture made therefrom.
Device and methods for depositing materials on hard surfaces
A device and method for applying a material to a hard surface. The device has a sensor and one or more applicator nozzles. The device further includes a reservoir for containing a material to be deposited, and a CPU. The method includes providing information from the sensor about the surface to the CPU, which uses the information to identify where the material is to be deposited and/or how much to deposit.
