Adjustment Mechanism For A Seat
A seat, such as a vehicle seat, includes an assembly for use in adjusting a seat support relative to a seat frame to provide a varying level of support to a seat occupant. The assembly includes a chassis mounted on the seat support, a screw drive supported on the chassis, an actuator coupled to the screw drive, a drive block engaging the screw drive, and first and second cables extending from the assembly for adjustable attachment to the seat frame.
SWASH-PLATE-TYPE GEARING FOR ADJUSTMENT DEVICES
A swash-plate-type gearing for adjustment devices includes a housing; an outer part, which has an inner toothing concentric with a joint axis; and an inner part with an outer toothing concentric with an eccentric axis, which runs parallel to the joint axis, offset by an off-centre distance. The gearing also includes an engagement region, in which the outer toothing is engaged with the inner toothing and which is located on a straight line intersecting the joint axis and eccentric axis, in each case at a right angle, with the eccentric axis lying on this straight line between the joint axis and engagement region; and a free space located 180° opposite the engagement region and on the straight line, in which free space the outer toothing is disengaged from and at a distance from the inner toothing. A locking part is provided having a locking region located in the free space.
FORCE BIAS DEVICE FOR AN ACTUATOR SYSTEM
The present disclosure discusses an active seating system that includes a load leveling mechanism. The load leveling mechanism includes a force bias actuator assembly, a roll actuator assembly, a heave actuator assembly, a first torsion rod connected to the force bias actuator and the roll actuator, and a second torsion rod connected to the force bias actuator and the heave actuator. Each of the force bias actuator assembly, roll actuator assembly, and heave actuator assemblies comprises a housing, a DC motor disposed within the housing, and a ball screw with a driveshaft, the driveshaft of the ball screw being coaxial with a rotor of the DC motor. The active seating system also includes a seat top and an interface configured to mount the seat top to the load leveling mechanism.
VEHICLE SEAT
A motor vehicle seat may have a seat squab, a back rest, and kinematics for moving the vehicle seat from a use position suitable for conveying people to a non-use position or access position. The access position makes accessing a rear row of seats easier. The seat may be moved by a drive device from the use position to the non-use position, and vice versa. The seat may have a rear foot with a locking device that can be locked with a counter-element for securing in the use position. The seat may also have a protection device arranged in the region of the locking device for detecting an obstacle in a movement path of the rear foot when the vehicle seat is moved from the non-use position to the use position.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat (11) includes a seat frame (22a) having an opening (46) in a plate-shaped part (43), andan actuator (31) mounted on the plate-shaped part (43). Accordingly, it is possible to provide a vehicle seat that further contributes to quietness in the interior of a vehicle.
Rotation device for vehicle seat
The present invention discloses a rotation device for a vehicle seat. The device includes a fixed disc, a lower ball assembly, a movable disc, an upper ball assembly, and a platen successively arranged from bottom to top. A first lower circular track is formed on the fixed disc. A first upper circular track and a second lower circular track are formed on the movable disc. A second upper circular track is formed on the platen. A diameter of a first arcuate envelope line of the first lower circular track that is in contact with a lower ball and a diameter of a second arcuate envelope line of the first upper circular track that is in contact with the lower ball are both equal to a diameter of the lower ball, and a height of the first arcuate envelope line and a height of the second arcuate envelope line are 0.8 times the diameter of the lower ball. A diameter of a third arcuate envelope line of the second lower circular track that is in contact with an upper ball and a diameter of a fourth arcuate envelope line of the second upper circular track that is in contact with the upper ball are both equal to a diameter of the upper ball, and a height of the third arcuate envelope line and a height of the fourth arcuate envelope line are both 0.8 times the diameter of the upper ball. By means of the present invention, a smooth rotary operating force can be achieved, and a service life of the rotation device can be properly prolonged.
APPARATUS FOR MOVING MOTOR-OPERATED SEAT RAIL
Disclosed is an apparatus for moving a motor-operated seat rail, the apparatus including a lower rail coupled to a vehicle body and located on a lower surface of a floor, an upper rail configured to integrally move with a seat along the lower rail, a lead screw located inside the lower rail, a drive unit located in the upper rail, a gear box located in the lead screw, the gear box receiving driving force from the drive unit to integrally move with the upper rail along the lead screw, and a drive transmission unit located between the drive unit and the gear box.
VAN/RV LAY-FLAT SOFA-BED AND METHOD OF USE
An adjustable sofa-bed assembly for use within a vehicle such as a van or RV. The sofa-bed includes a seat portion, a back portion, and either a permanently fixed base or a removable leg portion which allows the legs to be installed into the vehicle prior to installing the seat and back portions to allow for additional elements to be installed beneath the sofa-bed, such as power elements for a powered sofa-bed assembly or for other equipment. The sofa-bed can be transformed from a sofa configuration with an upright back portion to a bed configuration with a laid-flat back portion. When in the bed configuration, the seat portion and back portion are aligned such that there is no gap between the two portions and the two portions lie completely flat, forming a complete bed assembly.
Vehicle seat operation
A user destination is identified based on received location information from a user. A first seat in a vehicle is assigned to the user based on the user destination. At least one of the first seat and a second seat in the vehicle is moved upon user entry until a distance between the first seat and the second seat is greater than a distance threshold.
