Storage-stable enzyme preparations, their production and use

Described herein is a liquid enzyme preparation containing component (a): at least one salt according to general formula (I)
(R.sup.2).sub.3N.sup.+—(CH.sub.2).sub.nC(R.sup.3)(R.sup.4)—(O—X).sub.m—O—C(O)—R.sup.1A.sup.−  (I) wherein n is selected from 1 to 12, m is selected from zero to 50, R.sup.1 is selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, —CH(OH)—CH(OH)—COOH, CH(OH)—CH.sub.3, (E)-CH═CHCOOH, (Z)—CH═CHCOOH, —C.sub.6H.sub.5, para-HO—C.sub.6H.sub.4—, o,p-dihydroxyphenyl, and 3,4,5-triydroxyphenyl, R.sup.2 are same or different and selected from C.sub.1-C.sub.10-alkyl, phenyl, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are same or different and selected from hydrogen and C.sub.1-C.sub.4-alkyl, X is C.sub.2-C.sub.4-alkylen, and A.sup.− is an inorganic or organic counteranion,
component (b): at least one enzyme selected from hydrolases (EC 3),
and
optionally component (c): at least one compound selected from enzyme stabilizers different from component (a), preservatives, and surfactants.

A detergent composition comprising: (a) a polypeptide having alpha-amylase activity comprising or consisting of an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1, or a fragment thereof which exhibits alpha-amylase activity; (b) a polypeptide having protease activity;

DETERGENT COMPOSITION

The invention concerns a detergent composition, comprising: (a) from 0.0005 to 0.5 wt. % of a lipid esterase enzyme; (b) from 2 to 25 wt. % of an alcohol ether sulfate of formula R—(OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2).sub.nOSO.sub.3H where n is from 5 to 15, preferably from 6 to 15, more preferably from 7 to 15, most preferably 7 to 12; and (c) from 0.2 to 50 wt. %, of surfactant other than the surfactant specified in (b); also the invention concerns a domestic method of treating a textile; and the use of an alcohol ether sulfate of formula R—(OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2).sub.nOSO.sub.3H where R is saturated or monounsaturated linear C16 and/or C18 alkyl chain and where n is from 7 to 15, preferably 8 to 12, to reduce the amount of lipase left in fats on garments after the wash.

DETERGENT COMPOSITION

The present invention concerns a detergent composition, comprising: (a) from 1.5 to 30 wt. %, of an anionic surfactant; (b) from 3 to 20 wt. % of a saturated or monosaturated linear C16 and/or C18 ether sulfate with mole average of 5 to 13, preferably 7 to 13 ethoxylate groups; (c) from 1 to 5 wt. % of a nonionic surfactant; (d) from 0.5 to 15 wt. % of polymeric cleaning boosters selected from antiredeposition polymers, soil release polymers and mixtures thereof, and wherein the anionic surfactant a) is a non-ether sulfate anionic surfactant; and to a domestic method of treating a textile.

DETERGENT COMPOSITION

A detergent composition, comprising: (a) from 2 to 25 wt. % of an alcohol ether sulfate of formula R.sub.1—(OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2).sub.mOSO.sub.3H where R.sub.1 is saturated or monounsaturated, preferably saturated, linear C12 and/or C14 alkyl chain and where m is from 1 to 4; and, (b) from 2 to 25 wt. % of an alcohol ether sulfate of formula R.sub.2—(OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2).sub.nOSO.sub.3H where R.sub.2 is saturated or monounsaturated linear C16 and/or C18 alkyl chain and where n is from 5 to 20; wherein the weight ratio of (a) to (b) is from 5:1 to 1:8. A domestic method of treating a textile with an aqueous solution of 0.5 to 20 g/L of said detergent composition.

A FABRIC CARE COMPOSITION COMPRISING HYDROPHOBICALLY MODIFIED POLYALKYLENEIMINE AS DYE FIXATIVE POLYMER

Described herein is a fabric care composition including at least one hydrophobically modified polyalkyleneimine as dye fixative polymer. Also described herein is a method for providing an improved color care effect during washing or treatment of colored fabric, the method including use of the hydrophobically modified polyalkyleneimine as dye fixative polymer.

DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS

The invention provides a detergent composition for the non-oxidative laundering of fabric stains, the composition comprising: (a) from 0.1 to 10% (by weight based on the total weight of the composition) of ethylenediamine-N,N′-bis-(2-hydroxyphenyl) acetic acid (EDDHA) and/or salts thereof, and (b) from 3 to 80% (by weight based on the total weight of the composition) of one or more detersive surfactants.

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a spray-dried laundry detergent particle, wherein the process includes the step of contacting water-insoluble silicate salt to monomeric organic carboxylic acid in an aqueous mixture, wherein the aqueous mixture has a pH of 4.2 or less, wherein the aqueous mixture includes detersive surfactant, wherein the aqueous mixture is substantially free of carbonate salt, wherein the water-insoluble silicate salt reacts with the monomeric organic carboxylic acid to form silica, wherein the aqueous mixture is spray-dried to form a spray-dried laundry detergent particle, wherein the particle comprises: detersive surfactant; monomeric organic carboxylic acid; and silica, wherein the particle is substantially free of carbonate salt.

CONSUMER PRODUCTS COMPRISING DELIVERY PARTICLES WITH HIGH CORE:WALL RATIOS

Consumer product compositions that include a consumer product adjunct material and a population of delivery particles, where the delivery particles include a core and a polymer wall, preferably a poly(meth)acrylate polymer wall, surrounding the core, where the weight ratio of the core materials and the wall polymer of the delivery particles is relatively high (e.g., at least 95:5). FABRIC TREATMENT USING BACTERIAL SPORES

A method of treating a fabric in a washing machine using a cold and/or a quick program, including contacting the fabric with a treatment liquor comprising at least 1x10.sup.2 CFU/1 of liquor, of bacterial spores wherein the cold program includes a wash having a bath temperature below 30° C. and/or the quick program lasts less than 40 minutes.
