CENTER INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM, VEHICLE, AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING VIEW ANGLE OF CENTER INFORMATION DISPLAY
A center information display system includes a center information display; a capturing device configured to obtain information on an occupant inside a vehicle; a rotating structure configured to adjust a view angle of the center information display; and a control device in communication with the capturing device, being configured to determine whether there is an occupant in a driver seat or a passenger seat, and control the rotating structure to rotate the center information display to a predetermined view angle.
INSTRUMENT PANEL STRUCTURE
An instrument panel structure of the present disclosure includes: an instrument-panel body portion constituting a body portion of an instrument panel of a vehicle and placed in front of a wheel in the vehicle front-rear direction; and one or more spacers configured to be placeable selectively on a first side or a second side in the vehicle width direction relative to the instrument-panel body portion, the one or more spacers constituting part of the instrument panel.
PASSENGER INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM
An infotainment system may include at least one display mounted to a vehicle seat, a connectivity module that operably couples the infotainment system to at least one mobile device, and a plurality of passenger-focused modules. The at least one display may mirror a display of the at least one mobile device, and the passenger-focused modules may operate in response to the at least one mobile device via the connectivity module.
Vehicle content based symbiosis for vehicle occupants
Vehicle event processing includes vehicle event detection, notification and/or action response processing. Information relating to a vehicle event is automatically distributed among a plurality of occupants of a vehicle. The plurality of occupants includes a driver of the vehicle and one or more passengers of the vehicle. Based on at least a portion of the information distributed and a perspective of at least one passenger of the one or more passengers, at least one tracking component of the vehicle is adjusted. Based on the adjusting, additional information is obtained. Based on at least a portion of the additional information, an action is automatically taken.
DISPLAY FOR AN AUTONOMOUS TAXI
An applique is mounted over one or both B-pillars of an autonomous vehicle and includes a display, speaker, touch input, and microphone. The applique may include a curved cover mounted over a printed circuit board (PCB) having LED arrays mounted thereto. A diffuser defines windows for the LED arrays and has a planar surface interfacing with the PCB and a curved surface interfacing with the curved cover. A controller of the vehicle detects proximity to a passenger to be picked up and displays the passenger's name at a first proximity, outputs a spoken message at a second, closer, proximity, and outputs a visible and audible prompt to enter an access code at a third proximity closer than the second proximity.
Vehicle
A vehicle is provided including an activation section, a shielding section, and a display section. An occupant uses the activation section to activate a make-up mode to assist the occupant in doing their make-up. The shielding section makes opaque at least one of a windshield glass, a side window glass, or a rear glass in a state in which the make-up mode has been activated. The display section is configured to display a mirror image of an entire face of the occupant in front of the occupant in a state in which the make-up mode has been activated, the mirror image being in an upright state relative to the occupant.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes: a steering wheel arranged at a vehicle front side of a driver's seat; a center display unit provided at a vehicle front side of the steering wheel, and configured to display information toward the driver's seat; a side display unit provided at one or both sides, in a vehicle width direction, of the center display unit, being inclined in a direction toward a vehicle rear side progressively away from the center display unit in plan view, and configured to display information toward the driver's seat; and an operation unit provided at the side display unit and configured to operate a vehicle onboard device.
Vehicle Telematics System Utilizing Prediction Function
A vehicle telematics system operable to assess the operating condition of a vehicle, receive information about assets nearby, and predict a desired transaction for the vehicle at one or mare of the nearby assets. The vehicle telematics system may comprise a processor operable to consult a history of past telematics communications and vehicle operations to make a prediction of a desired transaction.
Vehicle having an operator control and display device and method for operating such a vehicle
The invention relates to a vehicle having a detection device for detecting a property of a vehicle occupant and an operator control and display device which is coupled to the detection device, has a display region and is configured to display information in the display region and by means of which a symbol can be displayed in the display region as a function of the sensed property. It is provided here that the property which is detected by means of the detection device is a position of the vehicle occupant, and the operator control and display device is configured to display the symbol in a partial region of the display region which is determined as a function of the detected position, and to assign the symbol to the vehicle occupant in such a way that when there is a change in position of the vehicle occupant that the symbol follows the vehicle occupant. The invention also relates to a method for operating such a vehicle. The invention makes particularly flexible use of the vehicle possible.
Vehicular display device
The vehicular display device includes: a touchscreen disposed substantially at a center position in a vehicle width direction in front of a cockpit of a vehicle; a reception section at least partially provided to the touchscreen and configured to receive operation input from a user; and a display control section configured to display, on a display screen of the touchscreen, a first screen corresponding to a first function and a second screen corresponding to a second function such that the first screen and the second screen are arrayed in a left-right direction, the display control section being configured to perform, in accordance with a predetermined first instruction operation received by the reception section, switching control in which a display position of the first screen and a display position of at least a part of display content on the second screen are switched in the display screen.
