METHOD OF CONTROLLING AN ENGINE OIL WARNING LIGHT OF A VEHICLE
A method of controlling an engine oil warning light of a vehicle prevents deterioration of engine oil and reduced durability of an engine that would be caused by non-operation of an engine oil warning light. The method includes: calculating a pressure difference of engine oil; when the initial pressure difference is greater than a predetermined threshold pressure difference, changing a warning light operating pressure determination map; and determining whether or not to turn on an engine oil warning light based on the warning light operating pressure determined by the changed warning light operating pressure determination map.
Method of and apparatus for displaying an interactive interface during aircraft abnormal event
A method and apparatus for generating an interactive interface on a display of an aircraft comprising: determining that an aircraft system has a faulty condition, the aircraft system comprising a plurality of system functions, the system functions being independently 5 actuatable, the determining comprising: generating an indication of which one of the system functions is associated with the faulty condition; generating the interactive interface, the interactive interface comprising a visual representation of a control panel, the control panel comprising a plurality of actuatable switches, each one of the actuatable switches being associated with a corresponding one of the system functions, the generating comprising: 0 determining, based on the indication, which one of the actuatable switches is to be associated with a visual faulty status, and displaying, on the display, the interactive interface comprising the visual faulty status.
Method for Driving an Emergency Reaction System
A method is disclosed for driving an emergency reaction system within a moving motor vehicle carrying at least one vehicle occupant. The method includes monitoring health conditions of the vehicle occupant. The method also includes determining whether the health conditions are below a critical threshold and, if so, continuing to monitor the health conditions of the vehicle occupant. If the health conditions exceed the critical threshold, an emergency alert is issued without waiting for the motor vehicle to stop, and an autonomous safe stop maneuver is performed if the motor vehicle is moving autonomously or includes an autonomous driving system and is allowed to operate automatically.
Display device for vehicle and parking assist system
A display device for a vehicle includes: an image display unit configured to display a direction indicating image that indicates a travel direction of the vehicle; and a control device configured to execute travel control of the vehicle. The direction indicating image is switchable between a first image that indicates a first travel direction of the vehicle and a second image that indicates a second travel direction of the vehicle, the second travel direction being opposite to the first travel direction. In a case where the control device switches the travel direction of the vehicle from the first travel direction to the second travel direction, the image display unit switches the direction indicating image from the first image to the second image based on a vehicle speed of the vehicle, a state of a power transmission device, and a steering state of the vehicle.
Dynamic chassis and tire status indications
Systems, methods, and computer readable storage media provide dynamic chassis and tire status indications associated with a vehicle. Lift axle status data may be graphically represented by a lift axle indicator dynamically provided in a shared notification/messaging space positioned within the driver's line of sight during a lift axle transition. The lift axle indicator may include a side-view representation of the vehicle including a plurality of axle sections indicating the status of each axle. The lift axle indicator may be suppressed when air pressure is stabilized. Additionally, a graphical representation of data associated with statuses (e.g., air pressure, temperature) of each tire may be provided in a top-down view representation of the vehicle including its associated tire/axle configuration and the tire pressure for each tire. The graphical representation may be configured to reflect the correct number of axles and tires per position, and may further include a tractor versus trailer designation.
Parking assist system
A parking assist system includes an acquiring unit, a display unit, and a control unit. In a case where the acquiring unit acquires information about an obstacle on a first target route during traveling of a vehicle along the first target route and thus the vehicle stops traveling along the first target route, the control unit tries to calculate a second target route to a target position from a position where the vehicle stops traveling along the first target route. Upon succeeding in calculating the second target route, the control unit causes the display unit to display surrounding information corresponding to the second target route. Upon failing to calculate the second target route, the control unit causes the display unit to display a notification about an operation method of the vehicle.
Display system and method
A status indication system for conveying status information concerning a movable vehicle includes: an interface system configured to receive perception information concerning one or more objects proximate the movable vehicle; a processing system configured to process the perception information to generate proximate object display information; and a visual display system configured to render the proximate object display information.
Vehicle and control method thereof
A vehicle that selectively provides important sound to an occupant includes: a microphone configured to receive a noise sound; a speaker; a storage configured to store a plurality of sound waveforms and a warning sound source corresponding to each sound waveform of the plurality of sound waveforms; and a controller configured to generate a noise canceling signal based on the noise sound, control the speaker to output a noise canceling sound corresponding to the noise canceling signal, compare a waveform of the noise sound with the plurality of sound waveforms when a sound pressure level of the noise sound is greater than a threshold value, and when the waveform of the noise sound matches any sound waveform of the plurality of sound waveforms, and control the speaker to play a warning sound source corresponding to the sound waveform matching the noise sound.
Method and Control Unit for Displaying a Traffic Situation by Hiding Traffic Participant Symbols
A control unit for displaying a traffic situation on a screen of an ego vehicle is designed to display a first traffic participant symbol for a first traffic participant in a first sub-region of the screen and a second traffic participant symbol for a second traffic participant in a second sub-region of the screen. The control unit is additionally designed to determine that the first traffic participant symbol and the second traffic participant symbol are approaching each other in a specified manner on the basis of a change in the position of the second traffic participant relative to the first traffic participant. In response thereto, the control unit is further designed to at least partly hide the first and/or the second traffic participant symbol.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, DISPLAY DEVICE, VEHICLE, METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A display control device installed in a vehicle includes a receiving unit that receives information concerning dirt of a vehicle-mounted sensor installed in the vehicle, and a control unit that controls display of a wash execution button displayed on a display device installed in the vehicle for executing washing of the vehicle-mounted sensor, based on the information concerning the dirt received by the receiving unit.
