Method for controlling autonomous vehicle
A method for controlling an autonomous vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle control method, which adjusts a seat installed in a vehicle, a first display positioned in front of the seat and facing the seat, and a second display positioned in front of the first display and facing the seat, includes: detecting the face of a passenger sitting in the seat by a camera installed in the vehicle; estimating the face height from the floor surface of the vehicle; if the estimated face height is lower than a predetermined level, setting a display region on the first display, and, if the estimated face height is higher than the predetermined level, setting the display region on at least part of the second display; and displaying images in the set display region. One or more among an autonomous vehicle, user terminal, and server according to the present invention may be associated with an artificial intelligence module, a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, etc.
INFORMATION PROVISION SYSTEM
An information provision system mounted on a vehicle includes: a visual device configured to visually provide information to an occupant of the vehicle; and a controller configured to control the visual device. The controller is further configured to: cause the visual device to provide first information in a first period; cause the visual device to provide second information different from the first information in a second period later than the first period; and set at least one of a luminance and a saturation of the visual device in at least a part of an information switching period between the first period and the the second period to be lower than that in the first period and the second period.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A light guide body in a display device includes a first incident surface on which an image light is incident, and a second emission surface from which the image light is emitted. The light guide body includes a second emission optical element that diffracts the image light to emit a portion of the image light at a predetermined emission angle every time the image light enters the second emission optical element from a predetermined direction. The image light is diverged by being emitted from the second emission optical element such that the predetermined emission angle varies in accordance with a location in one predetermined region included in a plurality of predetermined regions of the optical element. The degree of divergence varies between the one predetermined region and other predetermined region included in the plurality of predetermined regions in accordance with the location of the virtual image.
PICTURE GENERATION UNIT AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY SYSTEM USING THE SAME
A picture generation unit comprises a light emitter array that is disposed on a substrate and provides a projection imaging light. The light emitter array includes a plurality of light emitting units. Each of the light emitting units includes a plurality of mini LED chips. An electronic control unit is electrically coupled to the substrate to control the mini LED chips to generate the projection imaging light. The light emitter array may emit light as well as present controllable images simultaneously. Because the picture generation unit abandons using the conventional backlight source and the module thereof, it can effectively utilize light energy and reduce radiation heat/waste heat. A vehicular head-up display system using the picture generation unit may improve operation reliability thereof.
Motor vehicle instrument cluster with reflective panel
The invention relates to a motor vehicle instrument cluster, comprising a digital display screen which is intended to be hidden from the vehicle passengers and capable of displaying a source image containing a multitude of indicator modules for the driver of the vehicle, and a panel (20) located below the digital display screen, at least the main central (20A) and upper (20B) portions of said panel being opaque and reflective, the panel (20) being inclined relative to the display screen so as to reflect the source image towards the driver so that the latter perceives, in his/her field of vision, a virtual image located in front of the panel (20), characterized in that the lateral (20C) and lower (20D) portions of the panel (20) are transparent.
COMPONENT FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR
A component for a vehicle interior may comprise a housing; a cover structure comprising a cover surface; and a user interface at the cover surface comprising a light display. The light display may comprise a light guide comprising a projection. The cover structure may comprise a cover base and a cover layer. The cover layer may be molded on the cover base. The cover base may comprise the light guide. The cover layer may comprise an aperture. The projection may extend into the aperture. The cover base may comprise an aperture, recess, notch and/or indentation. The cover layer may comprise a generally opaque material preventing visibility of a recess in the cover base. The cover base may comprise a different color and/or softness than the cover layer. The cover structure may comprise apertures and/or recesses for the light guide.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus including a display that has a screen; a wall portion (instrument panel) where the display is attached to an attachment portion; and a display control section that displays an information image showing information to be provided to a user (occupant) in a partial range of the screen, and displays a wall portion image having the same texture, color, or pattern as the wall portion, in a range of the screen in which the information image is not displayed.
Display control device, display control method, and storage medium storage program
A display control device provided at a vehicle and including a processor, a first display section, a second display section adjacent to the first display section, and a third display section adjacent to the second display section in a different direction from the first display section. The processor being configured to: control the first display section, the second display section, and the third display section; acquire notification information to be notified to a driver of the vehicle; and execute an animation such that the notification information currently being displayed on one of the first display section or the third display section is displayed on the second display section and then displayed on another of the first display section or the third display section.
Vehicle display device
A vehicle display device according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes a display that displays, as an image, functions for various pieces of vehicle operation information, a knob that is electrically interlocked with the display and selectively operates a corresponding function of the display according to left-right movement thereof, a guide rail that provides a movement path of the knob and divides a plurality of functional areas interlocked with the functions displayed on the display, and a guide part in which magnets having different polarities are alternately arranged in a lengthwise direction of the guide rail to automatically guide a location of the knob.
Display device and vehicle with the display device
A display panel has a first and second layers and a control unit. The first layer is a pixel matrix. The control unit is designed to actuate at least one pixel element for displaying at least one graphic display object. In a respective non-actuated state each pixel element is transparent. The second layer is partitioned into predetermined primary subareas each having an adjustable degree of light transmission. The primary subareas are separated by a primary space. The control unit is adapted to adjust a respective light transmission to a predetermined individual degree for each of the predetermined primary subareas independent of each other. The display panel also has a third layer designed to attenuate light in the primary space.
