The rear seat display device includes a display, a built-in speaker, and a controller that (i) acquires a signal relating to control of a sound to be output to a vehicle speaker mounted in the vehicle from an in-vehicle audio device, the vehicle speaker being a different speaker than the built-in speaker, and (ii) controls a sound to be output from the built-in speaker based on the signal relating to the control of the sound.

A display device for a dashboard of a road vehicle comprising: a support element, which is at least partially curved and comprises, in turn, a lower portion and an upper portion; at least one screen mechanically connected to the support element and configured so as to be visible to the driver while driving; wherein the screen follows the curvature of the support element so that the concave portion is arranged towards the driver.

A method for visualizing an inclination of a motor vehicle in the motor vehicle, in which the inclination of the motor vehicle is measured and made visible in the interior of the motor vehicle. The inclination is made visible by interior lighting of the motor vehicle. At least one virtual plane is formed, which intersects the motor vehicle horizontally when the latter is in a horizontal position and serves as a reference plane for displaying the inclination. Changes in the inclination of the motor vehicle are modeled dynamically by the interior lighting by the sequential and/or parallel activation of illuminants of the interior lighting.

A flip dot display apparatus for a vehicle includes a plurality of flip dot units disposed in a front grill disposed at a front bumper of the vehicle, and configured to transfer either one or both of notice information on a state of the vehicle and notice information on driving of the vehicle to an oncoming vehicle or a pedestrian. A vehicle has a seat movable between an upright position and a reclined position and an automatically adjustable headrest connected to the seat, the automatically adjustable headrest being automatically adjusted for a posture of a head of a user when the user is reclined in the reclined position. An information provision system mounted on a vehicle includes: a visual device configured to visually provide information to an occupant of the vehicle; and a controller configured to control the visual device. The controller is further configured to: cause the visual device to provide first information in a first period; cause the visual device to provide second information different from the first information in a second period later than the first period; and set at least one of a luminance and a saturation of the visual device in at least a part of an information switching period between the first period and the the second period to be lower than that in the first period and the second period.

A display device includes a display having a segment display portion that is configured to display a first icon and a dot matrix display portion, a display portion drive circuit outputting a drive signal for segment display to the segment display portion and outputting a drive signal for dot matrix display to the dot matrix display portion, a display abnormality detection circuit detecting a display abnormality of the first icon, a control circuit controlling the display portion drive circuit, and a processing unit providing the control circuit with an instruction to display a second icon, which is a substitute for the first icon, on the dot matrix display portion instead of an instruction to display the first icon on the segment display portion, when the display abnormality of the first icon is detected.

A display apparatus can include a display panel configured to display or reproduce an image or a video, a guide panel disposed in rear of the display panel, a printed circuit board mounted on the guide panel and electrically connected to the display panel, and a chip on film (COF). The COF can have one side electrically connected to the display panel and another side electrically connected to the printed circuit board. A portion of the COF can be bent to surround the guide panel. Further, in the guide panel, a buffer for alleviating an impact applied to the COF can be formed in a portion surrounded by the COF. In addition, a plurality of buffer bars can be disposed to be spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction of the guide panel.

A lead vehicle braking warning system includes a speed sensor, a detector, a display and an electronic controller. The speed sensor measures current speed of a host vehicle. The detector detects current speed of a lead vehicle relative to the speed of the host vehicle. The display has a braking condition display area configured to display each of a plurality of braking conditions of the lead vehicle for the operator of the host vehicle. The electronic controller is in electronic communication with the speed sensor, the detector and the display. The electronic controller determines whether or not the lead vehicle is currently decelerating and determine which one of a plurality of braking conditions is currently being experienced by the lead vehicle and display information identifying the current one of the plurality of braking conditions of the lead vehicle within the braking condition display area of the display.

This application discloses a media stream playing method and apparatus. The method includes: obtaining a first attribute parameter set when detecting that a first passenger views a first media stream played on a first vehicle-mounted screen, where the first attribute parameter set includes an identity of the first passenger and the first vehicle-mounted screen viewed by the first passenger; and when determining that attention of the first passenger is lost from the first vehicle-mounted screen, if determining that a second vehicle-mounted screen that is viewed by a second passenger and that is in a stored second attribute parameter set is the first vehicle-mounted screen, indicating to continue playing the first media stream on the first vehicle-mounted screen, where the second attribute parameter set includes an identity of the second passenger and the second vehicle-mounted screen.
