Pointer for illuminating bar graph gauges
A pointer for a gauge or an instrument cluster assembly is provided. The pointer is formed of a light conducting material. In one form, indicia are disposed about the axis of rotation and/or on a surface, the plurality of indicia configured to be selectively illuminated by the pointer. A second end of the pointer may be configured to be selectively rotated adjacent to each indicium of the plurality of indicia and to illuminate the indicia when the light guide pointer is disposed adjacent to the indicia. The second end may be wider than a first end of the pointer. In some variations, the pointer may have a fan shape, and the indicia may be configured as tick marks defining a bar graph. In some forms, opaque material may be disposed on the pointer, the opaque material defining a plurality of indicia on the pointer.
Add-On Alert Display For A Vehicle
The invention relates to an add-on display configured for attachment to a contour frame of a side-mirror of a vehicle and to provide visual awareness, safety or alert signals, comprising at least partially flexible casing, said casing comprising: (a) a partition wall separating between a front portion and a rear portion of the casing; (b) said front portion comprising one or more sections along a longitudinal axis of the casing, at least one of the sections is configured to contain at least one Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that issues said visual signals; (c) a connecting piece in between any two adjacent sections, if more than one exists, said connecting piece comprising at least a first opening at its bottom; and (d) at least one attachment surface configured for attachment to a surface of said contour frame the side-mirror of the vehicle.
Messaging display apparatus
A display apparatus configured to receive a command, and convert the command to displayable information to an outside pedestrian or drivers in other vehicles may include a main body that includes a securing portion to secure the display apparatus to a vehicle; a communication unit to receive the command; a processor to convert the command to displayable information; a display portion having a displaying layer to display information; and a power managing unit to store and provide electrical energy for the display apparatus. In one embodiment, the power managing unit may include a power generating unit to be positioned to overlap with the displaying layer.
DISPLAY APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A display apparatus for a vehicle including a screen unit configured to output vehicle operation information and an image of each function, and a driving unit configured to adjust a position of the screen unit through a rotary pop-up. The range of exposure of a display area may be selectively adjusted through the adjustment of the position of the screen part by the driving part, and a predetermined image may be output according to the range of exposure of the display area.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus including a display that has a screen; a wall portion (instrument panel) where the display is attached to an attachment portion; and a display control section that displays an information image showing information to be provided to a user (occupant) in a partial range of the screen, and displays a wall portion image having the same texture, color, or pattern as the wall portion, in a range of the screen in which the information image is not displayed.
LOW-SPEED MANEUVER ASSISTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Maneuver assisting system and method are provided. The system includes at least one processor configured to process operations of the system; one or more memories for storing instructions; a communication unit for communicating between components of the system, and between the system and the vehicle and/or a user equipment; a Surrounding View Monitoring (SVM) unit comprising a plurality of sensors for providing a plurality of vehicle-related information; a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) configured for a driver of the vehicle to interact with the system; a display unit configured to display the HMI; a motion planning unit configured to generate a trajectory for the vehicle to follow; and a motion control unit configured to control the automated maneuvers of the vehicle. In particular, the HMI is configured to be implemented in the user equipment in order for the driver to remotely operate the system using the user equipment.
Vehicle and remote operation system
A vehicle includes: a permission unit configured to permit a remote operation performed by a remote operation device provided outside the vehicle; a transmission unit configured to transmit surrounding information of the vehicle; a reception unit configured to receive a remote operation signal input by an operator outside the vehicle via the remote operation device; a traveling control unit configured to control the vehicle to travel based on the remote operation signal; a drive data acquisition unit configured to acquire drive data input by a driver in the vehicle; and a handover determination unit configured to determine, while the remote operation is permitted by the permission unit, that handover of a driving operation of the vehicle to the remote operation is allowed when a difference between the drive data acquired by the drive data acquisition unit and the remote operation signal is within a predetermined range.
Control system and switch method for screen of vehicle
A control system for a screen of a vehicle includes a global positioning system (GPS), an inertia sensor and a control circuit. The GPS detects a satellite signal from a satellite. The inertia sensor senses motion of the vehicle and correspondingly generates a motion state value. The control circuit performs one of a first determination procedure and a second determination procedure according to the state of the satellite signal. In the first determination procedure, the control circuit calculates the vehicle speed of the vehicle according to the satellite signal, and selectively locks the screen of the vehicle according to the vehicle speed. In the second determination procedure, the control circuit generates a motion signal according to the motion state value, and selectively locks the screen of the vehicle according to the motion signal. Accordingly, driving safety can still be effectively ensured even in the case of poor satellite signals.
Display systems and methods for a recreational vehicle
The present application discloses systems and methods to present information to recreational vehicle riders and to provide customizable visual information to recreational vehicle riders. The present application further discloses systems and methods to connect and transmit audio information between a driver portable communication device and a driver audio interface device through the recreational vehicle and audio information between a passenger portable communication device and a passenger audio interface device.
In-vehicle performance device, in-vehicle performance system, in-vehicle performance method, storage medium, and command measurement device
An in-vehicle performance device is an in-vehicle performance device that performs a game that is played by an occupant in a vehicle, and includes a motion detector configured to detect a motion of the occupant irrelevant to driving the vehicle, a display configured to display an image visually recognizable by the occupant, and a display controller configured to display a response image according to the motion of the occupant on the display on the basis of the motion of the occupant detected by the motion detector, and output a result of a game based on a predetermined rule.
