ERGONOMIC VEHICLE CAB
A refuse vehicle includes a chassis coupled to a wheel and having a first portion and a second portion, an energy storage system supported by the chassis, a drive motor coupled to the wheel and configured to receive electrical energy from the energy storage system and provide rotational mechanical energy to the wheel, a cab supported by the first portion of the chassis, a refuse compartment supported by the second portion of the chassis, a suspension supported by the cab, a seat supported within an interior of the cab, an armrest arranged proximate to the seat and having control console with a joystick, and an armrest adjustment assembly coupled to the armrest and configured to adjust a height of the armrest relative to the seat. The suspension supports the seat and the armrest so that a position of the armrest relative to the seat is maintained.
Vehicle electronic display configured to flex and/or fold for enhanced usability and viewing
A display assembly for a vehicle includes an electronic display and an adjustment mechanism. The electronic display is configured to be mounted to an instrument panel of the vehicle. The electronic display includes multiple screens and at least one hinge disposed between the screens. The electronic display is configured to be folded at the at least one hinge by pivoting at least one of the screens about the at least one hinge to adjust a viewing angle of an occupant in the vehicle relative to the at least one screen. The adjustment mechanism is configured to maintain the at least one screen in any one of a plurality of positions when the electronic display is folded at the at least one hinge by pivoting the at least one screen about the at least one hinge to adjust the at least one screen to the one position.
Proximity detection device and information processing system
When a gesture operation of a hand moving close to a display from left to right is performed, the return movement of the hand to the left side due to reflection by the wrist or the like may be detected. A detection control unit detects the approach of the hand to the display and notifies a data processing device of non-detection of hand approach when the amount of movement of the hand in the right direction starts to decrease after exceeding a threshold value. The data processing device accepts the right-moving gesture operation to perform a predetermined process when the amount of movement exceeds the threshold value.
SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING VEHICLE DISPLAY
According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a system for controlling vehicle display comprising: a traveling environment recognition unit configured to acquire traveling environmental information of a traveling vehicle; a control unit configured to generate control information associated with a displaying position of additional information that is to be presented on a display according to the traveling environmental information; and a display unit configured to display the additional information on a display region according to the control information.
Adaptive user-specific automated driver assistance system warnings
Automated driver assistance systems (ADAS) and methods that provide user-specific ADAS warnings each involve determining an identity of the driver of the vehicle, accessing a memory configured to store a set of user profiles, each user profile defining a set of ADAS warnings, identifying a target user profile based on whether the driver identity corresponds to any of the set of user profiles, including accessing one of the set of stored user profiles or creating and storing a new user profile, and, during a period after identifying the target user profile, updating the set of ADAS warnings defined by the target user profile based on the vehicle's operation and providing ADAS warnings based on the set of ADAS warnings defined by the target user profile.
Display control device, display control method, and display control program
A display control device includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire a browsing history including a record indicating that vehicle driving information corresponding to each of a plurality of display elements was displayed on the display unit of each of the driver of a vehicle and a manager who manages the driver, an identification unit configured to identify a specific element from among the display elements based on the difference between the number of browses by the driver and the number of browses by the manager that are recorded in the browsing history acquired by the acquisition unit, and a display control unit configured to cause the display unit of at least one of the driver and the manager to display the specific element with the display form of the specific element, identified by the identification unit, made different from the display form of the other display elements.
CONTROL STAND FOR A CRANE, EXCAVATOR, AND THE LIKE
A control stand is disclosed for controlling a crane, an excavator, a crawler, or a similar construction machine having a seat, control elements actuable from the seat for inputting control commands, a display apparatus for displaying information, and a control unit for generating adjustment signals in dependence on input control commands and/or for providing information to the display apparatus. A crane is disclosed having such a control stand that can be configured in the form of a crane operator's cabin. The control elements and/or the display apparatus of the control stand and various further auxiliary units can be individually configurable. Personal pre-settings can be saved and can be reinvoked when the control stand or the crane is to be controlled by a certain machine operator.
Display device and a vehicle with the display device
A display panel has a first panel side and a second panel side, both capable of displaying graphic display object(s). The display panel has a pixel layer, control circuitry and a sensor unit which identify the presence of at least one person at a predefined threshold distance from the display device and whether the at least one person is on the first panel side or the second panel side. The control circuitry is adapted to enable the displaying of the graphic display object in accordance with a predefined display alignment in one of a first orientation and a second orientation based on a physical environment condition.
In-vehicle terminal device and display method for in-vehicle display
In an in-vehicle terminal device that is able to perform communication with a server device, an identification information acquisition unit acquires identification information of a user who boards a vehicle. A communication unit transmits the identification information of the user to the server device and receives arrangement information of a plurality of display elements corresponding to the identification information of the user transmitted from the server device. A setting unit decides an arrangement of the display elements of the in-vehicle display according to an arrangement criterion based on vehicle type information of the vehicle using the arrangement information of the display elements corresponding to the identification information of the user.
Vehicle display device
A head-up display device as a vehicle display device projects display light onto a front windshield of a vehicle, displays a virtual image by reflected display light, on the front windshield, so as to be superimposed on a real scene transparent through the front windshield, captures an image of a driver of the vehicle by projecting infrared light onto the driver, and detects the positions of the eyes of the driver based on the captured image. A control unit detects the position of a feature point of the face of the driver in the captured image and stores a positional relationship with the detected positions of the eyes, and, when it is difficult to detect the positions of the eyes in die captured image, estimates a viewpoint position of the driver based on the position of the feature point detected at this time and the positional relationship stored beforehand.
