SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE OPERABLE TO ENTER A REVERSE MODE
A system for a vehicle includes a human-machine interface, a microphone that detects sound, a sound source device that emits sound, and a controller that prompts pairing of the sound source device and the microphone, such that the sound source device emits sound corresponding to the sound detected by the microphone. The controller prompts pairing of the sound source device and the microphone in response to at least one of (i) the vehicle entering a reverse mode, and (ii) receiving a user input entered into the human-machine interface via selection of an input option by a user, wherein the input option is made accessible for selection by the user in response to the vehicle entering the reverse mode.
Component for a vehicle interior
A vehicle interior component configured to present a user interface for a vehicle occupant with vehicle systems may comprise a housing, cover structure and user interface system to present the user interface at a cover surface. The user interface may comprise a light display to transmit light from a light source and/or an input device comprising a mechanical coupling to interface with a sensor arrangement. The user interface may comprise output from the light display and/or input by interaction with the input device at the cover surface. The component may comprise a module comprising the light display and the input device. The module may comprise an absorber. The light display may comprise a light guide and/or display panel. The light guide may comprise a projection and/or icon to transmit light through an aperture and/or recess of the cover structure.
OPERATOR CONTROL DEVICE FOR OPERATING AN INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM, METHOD FOR PROVIDING AN AUDIBLE SIGNAL FOR AN OPERATOR CONTROL DEVICE, AND MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING AN OPERATOR CONTROL DEVICE
A method and an operator control device operate an infotainment system. The operator control device has a control unit, an audio device, an actuating element, and a touch-sensitive display device, which is mounted so as to be movable and is designed to display at least one graphical control element. The touch-sensitive display device moves during an actuating action and thus activates the actuating element. The control unit determines an actuation position of the actuating action on the touch-sensitive display device when the actuating element is activated and compares said actuation position with a display position of the at least one graphical control element. The audio device is actuated to output an audible signal when the actuation position matches the display position.
DRIVING ASSISTANCE DEVICE AND DRIVING ASSISTANCE METHOD
A driving assistance device includes a storage device storing a program and a hardware processor connected to the storage device. The hardware processor reads and executes the program stored in the storage device to recognize a risky physical object located near a mobile object on the basis of an output of a physical object detection device, cause at least one speaker to output a notification sound on the basis of a position of the risky physical object, and when the notification sound is output, cause the at least one speaker to output a first notification sound if the risky physical object is located in a first region including a region in front of the mobile object and cause the at least one speaker to output a second notification sound if the risky physical object is located in a second region including a region behind the mobile object. The first notification sound is a sound having a pitch different from that of the second notification sound.
ALERT SYSTEM AND RECORDING MEDIUM
The alert system includes a projection device, a display control unit, and a target object recognition unit. When a state changes from a state where a target object is not recognized by the target object recognition unit to a state where a target object is recognized by the target object recognition unit, the display control unit causes the projection device to output an alert display on a front window such that the length of the alert display is gradually shortened toward a position where a direction from an operator to the target object intersects with a front window.
ALERT SYSTEM AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An alert system includes a display device, a display control unit, and a target recognition unit. The display control unit: when the number of targets recognized by the target recognition unit is equal to or more than an upper limit number, sets a display range of a surrounding icon as a whole circular area; and in a state where the number of targets is equal to or more than the upper limit number and the display range of the surrounding icon is set as the whole circular area, when the number of targets increases, reduces the size of the surrounding icon.
Vehicle, car navigation system, and information providing apparatus
A controller in a vehicle includes an obtaining unit that obtains facility information on a charging facility that can charge a power storage mounted on the vehicle, the facility information including position information and utility information in association with each other, the position information indicating a position of the charging facility, the utility information indicating an electric utility that manages the charging facility. The controller further includes at least one of a first notification unit and a second notification unit. The first notification unit causes a notification apparatus to give first information that indicates an electric utility, by using the facility information obtained by the obtaining unit. The second notification unit causes the notification apparatus to give second information that indicates a position of a charging facility, by using the facility information obtained by the obtaining unit.
Vehicle and control method thereof
A vehicle that selectively provides important sound to an occupant includes: a microphone configured to receive a noise sound; a speaker; a storage configured to store a plurality of sound waveforms and a warning sound source corresponding to each sound waveform of the plurality of sound waveforms; and a controller configured to generate a noise canceling signal based on the noise sound, control the speaker to output a noise canceling sound corresponding to the noise canceling signal, compare a waveform of the noise sound with the plurality of sound waveforms when a sound pressure level of the noise sound is greater than a threshold value, and when the waveform of the noise sound matches any sound waveform of the plurality of sound waveforms, and control the speaker to play a warning sound source corresponding to the sound waveform matching the noise sound.
Overhead display system for vehicles
An overhead display system for a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a trim panel, a set of brackets, and a plurality of display units. The brackets are disposed within an interior region of the trim panel, and the display units are mounted on the brackets through openings formed in the trim panel. The display units are arranged such that a pair of screens can be oriented in both a rearward-facing direction and a forward-facing direction. The system is configured as a module that can be readily installed in a roof structure of a vehicle.
Entertainment system for a vehicle including a sound emitting module
An entertainment system for a vehicle, the system including: a sound emitting module including multiple sound emitting units, wherein the sound emitting module is adapted to be arranged such that the multiple sound emitting units are distributed along the transverse extension of a windshield of the vehicle and to emit sound towards the windshield, and a display device arranged between the sound emitting module and an occupant seating position, wherein the display device is arranged to cover the sound emitting module as seen from the occupant seating position. The disclosed entertainment system provides the advantage of integrating a more advanced sound system in the form of a sound emitting module including multiple sound emitting units.
