Rear seat display device
A rear seat display device is provided in a vehicle at a position viewable from a rear seat of the vehicle. The rear seat display device includes a display, a built-in speaker, and a controller that (i) acquires a signal relating to control of a sound to be output to a vehicle speaker mounted in the vehicle from an in-vehicle audio device, the vehicle speaker being a different speaker than the built-in speaker, and (ii) controls a sound to be output from the built-in speaker based on the signal relating to the control of the sound.
Electronic device monitoring system
Methods, systems, and apparatus for monitoring a vehicle. The system includes a sensor of the vehicle configured to detect sensor data indicating a presence of an electronic device within the vehicle. The system also includes an electronic control unit (ECU) of the vehicle communicatively coupled to the sensor. The ECU is configured to determine whether the electronic device is within the vehicle. The ECU is also configured to provide a notification to a user of the vehicle regarding the presence of the electronic device within the vehicle.
Speech Recognition System and Method for Providing Speech Recognition Service
A vehicle may include: a display provided inside the vehicle; and a controller configured to control the display, based on a condition being satisfied, to display a vehicle image comprising a graphic object and a plurality of indicators, wherein the graphic object indicates a plurality of portions of the vehicle image, and wherein each of the plurality of indicators is respectively associated with one of the plurality of portions. Based on a user utterance associated with at least one indicator of the plurality of indicators, the controller may be configured to control a control target corresponding to the at least one indicator.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ASSISTING A DRIVER OF A ROAD VEHICLE
The disclosure is related to a method and a system for assisting a driver of a road vehicle. A data processing unit receives data representing at least a relative position of the road vehicle, outputs, through a display device and/or an interior lighting device, a visual alert when the data processing unit determines that the data fulfill a first condition, and outputs, through a sound-emitting device, an audible alert when the data processing unit determines that the data fulfill a second condition after fulfilling the first condition.
Spatial infotainment rendering system for vehicles
A spatial infotainment rendering system may include at least one infotainment device configured to present information to a vehicle occupant traveling along a vehicle route at one of a plurality of infotainment locations within the vehicle and at least one spatial rendering processor. The processor may be configured to receive vehicle location and direction information of the vehicle along the vehicle route, receive event data indicative of an event having a potential to affect the vehicle route, and determine an event location based on event data. The processor may also be configured to select one of the infotainment locations based on the event location relative to the vehicle location and direction to present event information to the vehicle occupant relating to the event at a location spatially related to the event location relative to the vehicle route.
MANAGING RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND ACCESSORIES
A vehicle is electrically connected to one or more accessories. The vehicle includes at least one controller that may be configured to identify the accessory based on accessory identification information. The controller may also be configured to provide one or more commands to control an operation of the accessory.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LAMPLIGHT BY USING MUSIC, AND IN-VEHICLE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a system and method for controlling lamplight by using music, and an in-vehicle infotainment system. The system comprises: a music analysis unit, configured to analyze rhythm and content of music; and a lamplight control unit, configured to dynamically control, on the basis of the analysis of the rhythm and content of the music, at least one of color, brightness and variation rhythm of the color and brightness of lamplight emitted by light-emitting components. Embodiments of the present invention can achieve better integration between lamplight, music and scenes, so that a user obtains an improved acousto-optic experience.
DISPLAY SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
The present application discloses systems and methods to present information to recreational vehicle riders and to provide customizable visual information to recreational vehicle riders. The present application further discloses systems and methods to connect and transmit audio information between a driver portable communication device and a driver audio interface device through the recreational vehicle and audio information between a passenger portable communication device and a passenger audio interface device.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING FEEDBACK BASED ON INPUT
A device for providing feedback based on an input according to the present disclosure includes a sensor for sensing an input signal corresponding to the input of a user, and a controller that determines the input of the user as at least one of a touch operation, a press operation, or a swipe operation based on the input signal, and provides feedback corresponding to the determination result. The device may provide feedback using a haptic or sound output scheme based on the input of the user, thereby allowing the user to intuitively recognize an input function.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ASSISTING A PARKING MANEUVER
Methods and devices assist in a parking maneuver of a vehicle. The vehicle includes a parking aid that produces a first signal. The first signal is perceptible in an interior of the vehicle during a parking maneuver. A signal property of the first signal is adapted to a currently prevailing distance of the vehicle from a parking obstruction. The first signal is converted into a second signal that is perceptible by an operator located outside the vehicle. The second signal is transmitted to the operator disposed outside the vehicle during a remotely-controlled performance of the parking maneuver.
