PROGRAMMABLE INPUT DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A system for a vehicle includes a first input device and a second input device that provides a plurality of selectable input options. The plurality of selectable input options comprises a plurality of control input options for controlling a plurality of vehicle functions and an association input option for associating the first input device with at least one vehicle function suggested from among the plurality of vehicle functions. The at least one vehicle function is suggested based on historical use of the control input option that controls the at least one vehicle function and an accessibility score of the control input option.
Flip dot display apparatus for vehicle
A flip dot display apparatus for a vehicle includes a plurality of flip dot units disposed in a front grill disposed at a front bumper of the vehicle, and configured to transfer either one or both of notice information on a state of the vehicle and notice information on driving of the vehicle to an oncoming vehicle or a pedestrian. Each flip dot unit among the plurality of flip dot units includes: a housing having an opening formed on one side thereof and a space formed therein; and a flip disk rotatably installed in the housing and configured to open or close the opening.
Surround view monitoring system and providing method of the same
A surround view monitoring system and a method for providing the same, including a plurality of registration cameras, each mounted on a vehicle and photographing different areas around the vehicle; a depth camera that acquires distance information with respect to an obstacle existing around the vehicle; an image synthesis unit that generates a synthesis image by synthesizing images photographed by the plurality of registration cameras, and displays the distance information with respect to the obstacle acquired by the depth camera on an obstacle existing in the synthesis image; and an image control unit that displays the synthesized synthesis image on a display device are disclosed.
Projected laser lines/graphics to visually indicate truck turning path
A system and method are provided and include a light source projector with a positional actuator mounted on a subject vehicle that projects laser lines on a roadway upon which the subject vehicle is traveling. A controller receives steering angle data from a steering system of the subject vehicle, the steering angle data corresponding to a steering angle of the subject vehicle. The controller determines a turning path of the subject vehicle based on the steering angle data and controls the positional actuator to project the laser lines on the roadway to correspond to the determined turning path of the subject vehicle.
CONTROL INTERFACE ON AN AUTONOMOUS WORK VEHICLE
In one embodiment, an autonomous vehicle includes a controller and a control interface disposed in an enclosure on the side of the autonomous vehicle. The control interface includes a display communicatively coupled to the controller. The display is used to at least setup or control operation of an implement attached to the autonomous vehicle, setup or control operation of the autonomous vehicle, or both.
Head up side view mirror
A motor vehicle includes a left side view camera attached to the left lateral side of the body and having a field of view in a rearward direction. A right side view camera is attached to the right lateral side of the body and has a field of view in a rearward direction. There is a right back up camera and a left back up camera. An optics module receives resulting video signals and produces light fields such that the light fields are reflected off of windows of the motor vehicle and are then visible to a driver of the motor vehicle as virtual images.
VEHICULAR DISPLAY DEVICE
When an ignition switch has been turned off, an accessory switch has been turned off, and a door has been opened (100, 102), a message is displayed in a monitor on an opposite side to a side that the door has been opened (112). In addition, when it has been detected that a key has been shut in or that it has been forgotten to close a window (104), there is performed a warning display that displays a warning in a monitor on an opposite side to a door where a door locking operation has been performed (110). Moreover, when there has been detected a smart key carried by an occupant on a vehicle outside after getting out of a vehicle (118), a message is displayed in a monitor on an opposite side to a key detection direction (120).
Vehicle body structure
A vehicle body structure includes a first surface, a closure panel, an interactive display panel and a controller. The first surface has a first edge extending along an exterior portion of a vehicle and a second edge opposite the first edge extending along an interior portion of the vehicle. The first surface at least partially defines a door opening. The closure panel is movably coupled for movement between an open position exposing the first surface and a closed position covering the first surface such that a closure panel surface overlays the first surface. The interactive display panel is disposed along the first surface and is covered by the closure panel with the closure panel in the closed position and is exposed with the closure panel in the open position. The controller is in communication with the interactive display to display user inputted data on the interactive display panel.
Automated social network interaction system for a vehicle
In various aspects, the present disclosure provides a system and a related non-transitory computer-readable medium for performing operations incorporating social networking functions into a vehicle. The system can include a user identification subsystem that is configured to detect and identify a user. The system can also include an interactive display subsystem that is configured to generate output for display on a vehicle window. The displayed output generally includes social networking content. The social networking content can include “upload content,” “download content,” or both.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED ALERT SYSTEM AND ALERT CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle-mounted alert system includes display devices equipped to a vehicle, a sight line detection device detecting driver's sight line, a surrounding monitoring device detecting a presence of an object near the vehicle and a direction of the object with respect to the vehicle, and an alert control device controlling the display devices to display an alert image for informing the driver of the presence of the object detected by the surrounding monitoring device. The alert control device controls the display device located in a direction of the sight line of the driver to display the alert image, and then, controls the display devices so that the alert image successively moves from the display device located in the direction of the sight line of the driver to the display device determined based on the direction of the object detected by the surrounding monitoring device.
