RAIL SIGNAL
A rail signal having a rail signal lamp with a lens assembly comprising: a light emitter panel having an inner panel portion and a surrounding outer panel portion, wherein the inner panel portion is provided with an inner plurality of light emitters and the outer panel portion is provided with an outer plurality of light emitters, and a lens plate covering at least the outer panel portion and provided with a plurality of lens elements aligned with light-emitters in the outer panel portion, wherein the lens assembly provides light from the outer plurality of light emitters with a narrower divergence than the light from the inner plurality of light emitters.
Signal light assembly
An all welded signal light assembly transportable in secure, stacked condition with a plurality of all welded signal light assemblies of like construction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VISUAL INSPECTION OF SIGNAL LIGHTS AT RAILROAD CROSSINGS
A system for visual inspection of signal lights at a railroad crossing includes a data source comprising a stream of images, the stream of images including images of signal lights at a railroad crossing, an inspection module configured via computer executable instructions to receive the stream of images, detect signal lights and light instances in the stream of images, encode global information relevant to ambient luminosity and return a first feature vector, encode patch information of luminosity of detected signal lights and return a second feature vector, concatenate the first feature vector with the second feature vector and return a concatenated feature vector, and decode the concatenated feature vector and provide status of the signal lights.

Light Signal
A light signal, in particular for rail-bound traffic routes, includes a light source, an optical system and a control device for adjusting an emission characteristic. In order to improve the way optical parameters, in particular regarding brightness, phantom light and path geometry can be adjusted, the control device is configured to adjust the transmission properties of at least one smart glass element disposed in the luminous or light flux.
MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT FOR RAILWAY WAYSIDE SIGNAL APPLICATIONS
A mounting arrangement (100) includes an attachment member (102) for attachment to an end of a post (114), a connecting member (104) coupled to the attachment member (102), and a plurality of fastening elements (110) coupling the connecting member (104) to the attachment member (102), each fastening element (110) comprising a longitudinal axis (110A), longitudinal axes (110A) of the plurality of fastening elements (110) being substantially parallel to each other. The connecting member (104) is coupled to the attachment member (102) in a direction defined by the longitudinal axes (110A) of the plurality of fastening elements (110), wherein the attachment member (102) and the connecting member (104) comprise mating cylindrical surfaces (118, 140) which allow a tilting motion of the connecting member (104) about a rotating axis which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axes (110A) of the plurality of fastening elements (110).
Derail warning light system
The derail warning system may include a solar-powered LED indicator for derail or switch. The derail warning system may also include an orientation sensor that automatically turns on depending on the orientation of the derail (up or down), derail metal flag, or switch indicator flag. The derail warning system may bring more visibility with a 360-degree LED that is solar powered and may detect orientation and turn on based on the position of the derail, switch, or flag. The derail warning system may use a unique acceleration sensor or g-sensor that can detect orientation movement and automatically turn on or off and be fully charged to operate day or night. The derail warning system may also include a data-logging microprocessor to determine a time stamp of position and location.
Support Frame for a Temporary Signal for a Railroad
A support frame is disclosed for a temporary signal for a railroad. The railroad includes a track having two elongate rails, and the support frame comprises a post arranged to support a railroad signal, a base joined to the post, and at least one attachment for attaching the base to both rails of the track. The base comprises a first beam and a second beam, and the first beam and the second beam are each arranged to be attached to both of the rails.
Light stick
A light stick, primarily useful in the locomotive industry for signally between train personnel, includes a longitudinally extending housing which contains a first light source and a second light source. The first light source provides for general purpose illumination of the light stick. The second light source provides illumination primarily for purposes of signaling. The light stick may include a lens cap which is positioned at a forward end of the housing, and from which the illumination from the second light source may extend. Preferably, the light that is emitted from the lens cap has a blue color for purposes of railroad signaling.
