A fixing assembly has a support element adapted to be fixed to a component of a vehicle, and a frame adapted to support an accessory in a fixed relative position and connected to the support element in a fixed position; the support element has two openings which are engaged by respective protruding pins of the frame so as to allow a rotation of the frame towards the support element during a mounting step in which the protruding pins are inserted in the openings; a snap fitting prevents the displacement of the frame at the end of the aforementioned rotation, and then blocking devices, of the screw type, secure the frame in a stable position; the snap fitting has an elastically deformable element which is snap-fitted to a retention shoulder and forms part of a portion made of polymeric or elastomeric material of one between the support element and the frame.

An instrument panel support apparatus including a support portion configured by an on-board equipment or a fixing member fixed to the on-board equipment, and a connecting portion connecting the support portion and the end of the instrument panel. The connecting portion includes an engaging portion provided at the end of the instrument panel, and an engaged portion provided at the support portion so as to be engaged with the engaging portion when the instrument panel and the support portion are connected by pushing of one of the instrument panel and the support portion to the other of the instrument panel and the support portion in a predetermined direction. The engaging portion is configured to engage with the engaged portion in contact with the engaged portion or a periphery of the engaged portion by an elastic deformation of the engaging portion in the connecting portion.

A console panel includes a housing and a display device. The console panel is configured to fit in an opening of an automotive console or dashboard. The housing is configured to retain and support the display device within the housing. The housing comprises a retaining portion configured to position and retain the housing within the opening. The retaining portion is an encapsulation portion that is disposed about at least a portion of the perimeter of the housing. The encapsulation portion includes a retention feature configured to retain and support the housing within the encapsulation portion. The housing further includes a complementary retention feature. The retention feature is configured to at least partially engage with the complementary retention feature.

A vehicle includes a display device and the display device includes: a backlight unit provided at a rear side thereof; a display panel provided at a front side of the backlight unit; and an outer cover provided at a front side of the display panel, in which the backlight unit is provided to press the outer cover and be spaced apart from the display panel.

According to embodiments of the present invention, an apparatus fora vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a support structure adapted to support a display panel, a drive assembly capable of selectively driving the support structure to rotate about a first axis and to rotate about a second axis, the first axis being different from the second axis, and a sensor arrangement located at a first predetermined position along a path of the rotation about the first axis and at a second predetermined position along a path of the rotation about the second axis, the sensor arrangement being configured to directly detect the support structure selectively at the first and second predetermined positions. According to further embodiments of the present invention, a display for a vehicle and a method for controlling an apparatus for a vehicle are also provided.

An operating arrangement for a construction machine comprises an operating device which comprises a touch-sensitive display for inputting operating instructions by an operator, and an operating mask with localization markers. The operating device comprises at least a first alignment feature for aligning the operating mask on the operating device in a pre-defined operating position relative to the operating device. The operating mask is detachably attached to the operating device in the operating position, wherein the operating mask at least partially covers the touch-sensitive display, and wherein the location markers of the operating mask lie over specified areas of the display and facilitate locating the specified areas of the display for inputting instructions.

A display assembly, in particular for a motor vehicle dashboard, is provided with a display having a rear surface, on which a carrier is arranged; the assembly is further provided with a rear covering element and with a main printed circuit board, which is coupled to the carrier by a centering system and is arranged between the carrier and the rear covering element; the latter is fixed to the carrier so as to hold the main printed circuit board in position; the carrier is fixed to the rear surface of the display by means of adhesive.

A motor vehicle includes a steering wheel and/or pedals that can be moved from an active driving position to an inactive or stowed position. The motor vehicle may include a pedal shield that substantially blocks a driver's access to the pedals when the pedals are in an inactive position. The steering wheel and pedals may shift laterally simultaneously between the active and inactive positions or configurations.

An electronic device includes a display carrier, a layer of transparent castable polymer material, and a display. The display carrier has an opening and an outer side. The layer of polymer material is on the outer side of the display carrier. The display is arranged within or beneath the aperture of the display carrier. The outer side of the display carrier and the aperture are flooded or over-molded with the polymer material.

An apparatus for mounting a console display disposed in a vehicle includes a display holder unit coupled to the console display, a motor unit configured to rotate the display holder unit, and a mounting bracket including the display holder unit and the motor unit installed therein.
