IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR IMAGE RECORDING, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An image recording apparatus, having a discharging head, a fan, and a controller, is provided. The discharging head includes a discharging surface and a plurality of nozzles arranged along a sub-scanning direction, which intersects orthogonally with a main scanning direction. The discharging head is configured to move in the main scanning direction. The fan is configured to generate an airflow for collecting mist of ink discharged through the nozzles. The controller is configured to obtain a droplet size of the ink to be discharged through the nozzles from one of a print job and a printing mode set in advance, obtain a distance between the discharging surface and a printable medium, and control a rotation speed of the fan based on the droplet size and the distance.
LIQUID ABSORBING SHEET
A liquid absorbing sheet includes: a receiving base material which has a liquid permeability and which includes a first base material, a second base material, and a bonding portion at which the first base material and the second base material are bonded to each other at margins thereof, the first base material and the second base material each being composed of a material including fibers; and a water absorbing resin which has a water absorbing property, which is swelled in association with water absorption, and which is received in a portion between the first base material and the second base material surrounded by the bonding portion. In the liquid absorbing sheet described above, the bonding portion is at least partially broken when the water absorbing resin is swelled.
INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS
The inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a conveyor belt, and an ink receiving part. The ink receiving part includes a discharge port and a conveyance rotator. The discharge port is placed at an end portion in a crossing direction crossing a sheet conveyance direction, and discharges ink received in flashing. The conveyance rotator is rotated around a rotating shaft extending in the crossing direction. The conveyance rotator has a conveyance structure for conveying ink in the ink receiving part in a carry-out direction directed toward the discharge port along an axial direction of the rotating shaft.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a first absorbent member extending in a discharge region to which a discharge unit capable of discharging a liquid onto a medium discharges liquid, and configured to be capable of accepting the liquid discharged from the discharge unit, a second absorbent member arranged spaced apart from the first absorbent member to accept liquid flowed out from the first absorbent member when the liquid discharge apparatus is inclined from a posture for use of the liquid discharge to a predetermined direction, and a positioning portion configured to position the second absorbent member at a position spaced apart from the first absorbent member.
SPITTOON ASSEMBLY FOR A PRINTING DEVICE
Disclosed herein is a spittoon assembly for a printing device, a printing device comprising a spittoon assembly, and a method of cleaning a print head using a spittoon assembly. The spittoon assembly comprises a waste receptacle and a spit plate with a receiving surface. The receiving surface is inclined relative to a horizontal direction by an inclination angle when the spittoon assembly is mounted in the printing device. A fluid path extends from the receiving surface to the waste receptacle.
INK JET RECORDING APPARATUS CAPABLE OF SUPPRESSING OVERFLOW OF INK FROM AN ABSORBER EVEN IF THE APPARATUS IS ARRANGED AT AN ANGLE
An ink jet recording apparatus performs a recording operation by ejecting ink from a recording head. The apparatus includes a first absorber configured to absorb ink, a second absorber disposed apart from the first absorber having a larger ink absorption capacity than the first absorber, and a flow path portion that does not absorb ink. The second absorber has a second lower end portion arranged below a first lower end portion of the first absorber. The flow path portion connects the first lower end portion and a portion of the second absorber below the first lower end portion. As a result, ink is prevented from overflowing from the absorbers, even if an apparatus is arranged at an angle.
HEAD CAP, LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS, AND HEAD CAPPING METHOD
A head cap configured to maintain a head configured to discharge a liquid from nozzles formed in a nozzle surface, the head cap includes a cap configured to cap the nozzle surface of the head, and a holder holding the cap, the holder being detachably attachable to one of a carriage mounting the head and a guide configured to guide the carriage.
Inkjet Recording Device
An object of the present invention is to reduce the amount of solvent vapor floating around when a print head is cleaned in an inkjet recording device. In addition, an object is to reduce ink stains on a periphery of the print head. An inkjet recording device includes a main body portion and a print head. The main body portion includes an ink container that contains ink, and a solvent container that contains a solvent. The print head includes a nozzle connected to the ink container to discharge the pressurized and supplied ink, a charging electrode that charges ink particles discharged from the nozzle, a deflection electrode that deflects the ink particles charged by the charging electrode, and a gutter that collects the ink. In addition, a head mounting unit for cleaning the print head is provided. The head mounting unit is connected to a solvent vapor suction path for suctioning solvent vapor generated therearound.
STORAGE DEVICE AND LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS
Provided is a storage device including a container that includes an accommodation chamber accommodating fluid or powder, a flexible film that is bonded to the container and covers an opening portion of the accommodation chamber, and a tank holder to which the container having the film bonded thereto is fixed by a screw, in which the screw penetrates the film and fixes the container to the tank holder, and a part of a bonded portion between the film and the container surrounds a portion of the film through which the screw penetrates.
WIPING DEVICE, LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A wiping device includes a feeding portion having a feeding shaft, and configured to hold a band-like member, a pressing unit configured to allow a contact portion located in a contact region of the band-like member, to be brought into contact with a liquid ejecting portion, a winding portion having a winding shaft, and configured to be capable of performing a winding operation for winding the band-like member to move the contact portion in a movement direction, a brake mechanism configured to brake rotation of the feeding shaft, and a contact unit configured to contact the band-like member fed from the feeding portion and to apply tension to the band-like member, the contact unit being movable between an operating time position during the winding operation and a stop time position when the winding operation is not performed.
