Method for Driving an Emergency Reaction System
20220337696 · 2022-10-20 ·

A method is disclosed for driving an emergency reaction system within a moving motor vehicle carrying at least one vehicle occupant. The method includes monitoring health conditions of the vehicle occupant. The method also includes determining whether the health conditions are below a critical threshold and, if so, continuing to monitor the health conditions of the vehicle occupant. If the health conditions exceed the critical threshold, an emergency alert is issued without waiting for the motor vehicle to stop, and an autonomous safe stop maneuver is performed if the motor vehicle is moving autonomously or includes an autonomous driving system and is allowed to operate automatically.

Electronic apparatus and controlling method thereof

An electronic apparatus disposed in a vehicle is provided. The electronic apparatus includes an input device including a body configured to be rotatable and pushable and a display disposed on the body; and a processor configured to acquire profile data of a user including preset information for function of the vehicle, control the display to display basic user interface (UI) corresponding to the function of the vehicle based on the acquired profile data of the user, and control a function of the vehicle corresponding to the basic UI in response to receiving an input on the input device.

Dynamic chassis and tire status indications

Systems, methods, and computer readable storage media provide dynamic chassis and tire status indications associated with a vehicle. Lift axle status data may be graphically represented by a lift axle indicator dynamically provided in a shared notification/messaging space positioned within the driver's line of sight during a lift axle transition. The lift axle indicator may include a side-view representation of the vehicle including a plurality of axle sections indicating the status of each axle. The lift axle indicator may be suppressed when air pressure is stabilized. Additionally, a graphical representation of data associated with statuses (e.g., air pressure, temperature) of each tire may be provided in a top-down view representation of the vehicle including its associated tire/axle configuration and the tire pressure for each tire. The graphical representation may be configured to reflect the correct number of axles and tires per position, and may further include a tractor versus trailer designation.

VIDEO PROCESSING DEVICE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

A video processing device includes a receiver that successively receives input images, each having a prescribed overlapping image superimposed in one or more areas thereof, a compositing image generation unit that successively generates compositing images based on the external information, a video compositing unit that successively generates composite images, a compositing abnormality detection unit that determines whether one or more areas of the composite image have abnormality or not, a comparison unit that compares the one or more areas of the input image with those of the composite image to determine whether or not the respective areas match, if it is determined that the composite image have no abnormalities, and an output control unit that outputs the input image if it is determined that the respective areas match, and outputs the composite image when it is determined that the respective areas do not match.

Image display system, image display method, movable object including the image display system, and non-transitory computer-readable medium

An image display system includes a display unit displaying an image, a projection unit projecting in a target space a virtual image corresponding to the image with an output light of the display unit, a body unit provided thereto the display unit and the projection unit, and an image producing unit including a first correction unit and a second correction unit. The first correction unit performs a first correction processing of correcting, based on a first orientation signal indicative of a first orientation change of the body unit, a display position of the virtual image in the target space. The second correction unit performs a second correction processing of correcting, based on a second orientation signal indicative of a second orientation change of the body unit which is faster than the first orientation change, the display position of the virtual image in the target space.

Systems and Methods to Obtain Feedback in Response to Autonomous Vehicle Failure Events
20230141077 · 2023-05-11 ·

The present disclosure provides systems and methods to obtain feedback descriptive of autonomous vehicle failures. In particular, the systems and methods of the present disclosure can detect that a vehicle failure event occurred at an autonomous vehicle and, in response, provide an interactive user interface that enables a human located within the autonomous vehicle to enter feedback that describes the vehicle failure event. Thus, the systems and methods of the present disclosure can actively prompt and/or enable entry of feedback in response to a particular instance of a vehicle failure event, thereby enabling improved and streamlined collection of information about autonomous vehicle failures.

Display control apparatus, meter system, and display control method

There is provided a renderer 5 that renders a graphics indicator 7b (or 7f) which is displayed on a display screen 7a of a display 7 and which indicates an indication value in synchronization with a short hand 8a.

CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
20170364148 · 2017-12-21 ·

A control device for a vehicle includes a plurality of displays having a first display that is configured to provide vehicle information to a driver of the vehicle, where the vehicle information includes speed information of the vehicle, a sensor configured to obtain eye tracking information of the driver, where the eye tracking information includes a gaze of the driver, and a controller. The controller is configured to determine, based on the eye tracking information, a second display of the plurality of displays to which the gaze of the driver is directed, select a first content to be displayed on the first display, where the first content is based on a gazed second content of the second display, and provide the first content to the first display to be displayed.

VEHICLE ASSISTIVE SYSTEM

A vehicle assistive system includes a plurality of context information generating devices, each configured to output context information relating to a mobile vehicle, a processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions for performing acts. The acts include: generating one or more object representations based on corresponding context information; predicting one or more future states, each relating to a state of the object representation at a future time; eliminating the future states having a probability that does not meet a corresponding threshold; detecting a future event for one or more of the future states; providing one or more action items for each detected future event; performing one or more actions associated with the action items including an action selected from the group consisting of generating a notification using a notification device, and controlling the mobile vehicle using a control device.
